the location of this property is remarkable with amazing views to the ocean and to view the sunset everyday, love it. the only thing I didn't like was the bathrooms towels, we need to look for them, some are ok but some others are old , we expect them to be arranged properly not for us to hunt to them and get what was best.

In real life this home looks much better than the pictures posted online. It was also the best price for the accommodation we could find. It was a pleasure walking on the pathways along the beach, everything was within a short driving distance. The views of the ocean from the large windows are stunning. The property manager was very responsive and answered all questions. We wish we could have stayed longer and explored more of the trails and beaches.

Incredible views. Beautiful home

This house is a gorgeous gem! We woke every morning to see whales spouting out on the ocean and sea lions playing near shore. We stayed here with our son, daughter in law and her parents and the space and layout is perfect! Plenty of room to relax and unwind while conveniently close dining and markets. Would absolutely recommend and stay here again!

This is a stunning property with a very sweet history in regards to building/ownership. Breathtaking views of the ocean from all main rooms and master bedroom. Beautiful location, our favorite part of Pacific Grove to stay. The home was lovely and had very comfortable furnishings.

The house is gorgeous and the views are absolutely stunning - truly jaw-dropping (that is literally what we all did when we first entered). It was the perfect getaway home for our weekend trip to visit Monterey, the aquarium, and tide pools. The kitchen was well-stocked with great cooking supplies and tools if you want to cook at home. We were very grateful to park in the garage (big rainstorm!) and the home was spacious for all of us to give us time together and quiet time apart. Close to the beach and good, local restaurants and cafes, too. Great all-around!

Incredible location and view!

Comfortable and homey feel. Kitchen is well equipped and beds are very comfortable. Host was responsive and easy to communicate with. And, of course, the view is stunning!!

Perfect place

The view was not understated - it IS absolutely stunning! We couldn't take our eyes off it. The rooms and kitchen were more than accommodating for me and my 3 adult children. The location is equally amazing being steps away from a fabulous walk on the shore! Loved it and hope to return soon!

What a lovely home and amazing location. I love coming to Monterey and I will be back. Leslie was great to communicate with on minor issues and if you want some of the best views on the peninsula you have to check out this wonderful property.

This was our second time staying here. The house is absolutely perfect. I like to cook and the kitchen is fully stocked. Beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows and extra blankets. The VIEW can’t be beat! We 100% enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back.

Yes always our stay was to short this time

We were in town for a wedding, with all thw chaos of that, the house was peaceful and serene.

This property has stunning views of the ocean and amazing beach areas. Also just steps across the street to the ocean with walking paths and trails for miles. We had a lovely stay here. The home is very well laid out and has full ocean views of one of the most beautiful places in the Monterey/Carmel area. The beach is very easy to access and has a nice quiet spot just in front of the house or a bigger white sand beach just down the street. The house is well stocked and suited our needs from grandparents to toddlers.

This house is lovely and the location is perfect. As the listing states the sea views are stunning!!! Everything that you need is provided. My friends and I had only one regret and that was that we weren't staying longer.

Family members of all ages said they loved the house! The view was incredible and the beach was just across the road. The kids really enjoyed exploring the tide pools. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

The house is amazing. It's a great location, very clean, wonderful view, large rooms and very nice furniture. I am so glad we stayed at this beautiful home when my family of 7 were in town for a wedding.

Great spot for a relaxing stay. The views from the home are beautiful in every direction. In addition to the master king and 2 bedrooms with queen beds, there are 2 pull out sofas in the living room. The house is exceptionally clean and well stocked. The location is outstanding. 10 minutes from everything you need - Cannery Row & the Aquarium in Monterey, Pebble Beach and all the stops along 17-mile Drive in Carmel. There is a lot to do, but I did not realize how much we should have planned in advance since things were already booked once we got there. So, a small word of advice - plan ahead. Don't wait to check out the binder they have at the house. Oh, and bring your own pillows if you are a larger group. The beds are great, so no complaints at all there!!

We loved the location! The house is nearly across the road from Asilomar State Beach and our young granddaughters had fun visiting the tide pools. There's a nice sandy beach that's a longer walk but the trail is very walkable. The views from the house are stunning!

Beautiful home and location is perfection

This is an absolutely beautiful home with spectacular views from every room in the house. Very spacious and nicely furnished. Plenty of space for larger groups. Well manicured enclosed outdoor patio with grill and eating area. One of the nicest properties we have ever stayed at.

Wonderful time in Pacific Grove

The place was clean, spacious, and had incredible views! Close to town and the wedding venue that we were in town for.

Incredible views of ocean; great location for walking/biking coastline. Kitchen well-equipped; comfortable furniture/beds; very clean house. All 6 adults said “Let’s come back next year!”

This is a great location, close to the beach and to the bike trail. The kitchen, dining room, living room, and master bedroom all have great views of the ocean. While most of these rooms had shades to block the afternoon sun, the kitchen did not have shades at all, making it difficult to prepare an evening meal with direct sunlight.The house was very comfortable for four people, and the neighborhood is quiet. We had plenty of room to park all four of our cars.The house is within walking distance of downtown Pacific Grove, for those who can walk a couple of miles. The Good Old Days Festival was there in downtown PG, which was fun.The downside for me (since I have asthma) was that the sheets had been washed in scented detergent, which made it more difficult to sleep. We also ran out of soap pods for the dishwasher. The manager said he would take care of that after we left.

Wow! You couldn’t ask for a better location and house than this place! The views were unbeatable -picture windows with ocean views at every turn. The beds were comfy and there was tons of room to spread out. It was wonderful to just go across the street to explore the waves and tide pools in the morning. The town was just a few minutes away and right at the end of 17 Mile Drive. Frank and Leslie were friendly and quick with responses to our questions and getting checked in. I can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay. This is definitely a place I would like to return to!

There were five ladies staying at Mar Luna and we all had a fabulous time. Three of us had stayed here before and again we loved the location, view and the special warmth this house holds. I did morning walks to the beach to look at tide pools and took fantastic sunset photos from the beach near the house. We hope to stay here again in the future!

Awesome does not express the feeling of entering the home . The panoramic views from the family room and dining room and kitchen are postcard worthy. Still can not believe we had an opportunity to enjoy this wonderful home. Sorry to say our stay was too short..but then again I probably would not want to leave at anytime....Thank you hosts for sharing your family home...

This is a very nice home in a wonderful location. You can watch the waves for days and walk the nearby trails and paths for miles along the coast line. Bring what you need or visit the nearby grocery stores. If you want to BBQ in the nice Weber grill bring your own charcoal and supplies. We had a great time and will be happy to return.

Yearly girls trip Great house great view

We shared this home with Our Daughter, Son in Law and their 3 boys, ages 10,8,4.It was amazing to just walk down the hill and across the street to discover all the amazing tide pools. We went morning , afternoon and evenings. The boys had so much fun exploring. I so totally loved waking up every morning to a cup of coffee and the amazing views, then again in the evenings watching the sunsets. We could watch our family exploring the beaches from the house. I am so hoping to be able to stay in this amazing and wonderful home again someday

From the moment we walked through the front door, we were awed by the beauty and comfort of this home. The rooms, for the most part, were spacious with magnificent views of the ocean. The two downstairs bedrooms shared a bathroom. Since that was the only, minor, issue, I give this home a huge thimbs up. huge thumbs up.

Great stay in Pacific Grove! Beautiful views of the ocean from the house and easy access to the walking trails of Asilomar Dunes. We enjoyed many walks. Layout of house was great for our family with large living room and dining area. Kitchen stocked very well with all pots, pans, dishes. We also enjoyed the views from the upstairs bedroom. Garage with room for 2 cars. Hope to stay there again!

The views are indescribable and we were fortunate to stay while the surf was high, so the beauty of the ocean was mesmerizing. Sand toys were in the garage to use and beach towels were provided to brush off the sand after returning from the beach which is only steps away.The home is exactly as described and pictured - everything you need for a vacation away from home. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels, dishes, glasses, etc. and everything was clean and in working order. This is a well loved family home in a nice neighborhood-a true treasure that the owners are willing to share.Thanks for the wonderful memories.

Spectacular view and very comfortable stay

Where do I start?! This home was perfect. Nothing was missing, everything you could need was provided. I love a stocked kitchen and this one was. The views were beyond amazing. It was hard to leave. My family and I can’t wait to return.

Absolutely amazing location! The views are second to none! The floor plan of the home is optimum. Beds were extremely comfortable and bedding/pillows were very nice. Home is outfitted well including the Kitchen. Can’t wait to stay again.

Mar Luna is a rare gem with easy access to the Pacific Grove/Monterey beaches - beach trail access is excellent plus easy biking on 17 Mile road. Photos cannot capture the breathtaking views from the ocean facing side of the house. This established home has been well taken care of and provides for all the needs for a family or group of friends. No matter how long your stay, you will have a difficult time saying goodbye. We will definitely return!

We couldn’t have had a better getaway. This house is amazing. Perfect location, clean, updated, ocean views in almost every space. We’ve never stayed in Pacific Grove, but we may never stay in Monterey again. We loved the quaint downtown. Restaurants, coffee shops, live music at the pub. We will definitely be back!

This home was perfect for my sisters and myself. We spent many hours sitting in the living area watching whales, pelicans, deer, seals. The location is great for taking walks along the ocean.

Our stay was nothing short of amazing. We all fight over who is going to do the dishes because the view is so breathtaking. We’ve stayed in this house 3 or 4 times now and every year we make more wonderful memories. This year was topped off with all the whale watching. Thank you

If your idea of a relaxing getaway is staying at an ultra-lovely home with breath taking views of the Pacific and wildlife, all while sipping your favorite wine in a very comfy recliner, this is the place for you. Fabulous walking trails all around and within a mile walking distance to downtown.

This house was perfect and the description was exactly written. The view alone was amazing! The convenience of the washer/dryer was great. No problems with any of the electronics. Fireplace was beautiful. The one downfall is that we were all looking forward to having a bath in the big tub in the master bedroom and it was so disappointing to find that the plug was broken so we did not get to use it at all for the entire trip. Would have been nice! Also would have been nice to have a propane griill!.Thank you!
