Stunning, Ocean-Front Home in Seaclift Estates in Cambria! Perfection!

Beautiful home and location. We even saw whales breaching and dolphins playing from the living room! The kitchen had everything we needed and so much more!

Everytime we visit the central coast for wine tastings along Highway 46, we book a stay in Cambria as it really feels like you're taking two vacations. You are booking this place for the view of the Pacific, as you have a deck that looks directly over it. It's a great set up for a couples get away as there are three bedrooms with each bedroom having their own bathroom/shower. Note - not all the rooms have a view of the ocean, so you might have to draw straws! The master suite has the best view and with the windows open, the sound of the pacific rocks you to sleep. It's very peaceful. The house itself is well maintained and clean. The furniture, beds, kitchen, bathrooms are all acceptable, along with plenty of plates, glassware, pots and pans etc. The Pantry is sparse with there only being salt/pepper, coffee filters and some toothpicks. So if you're planning on cooking, know that you'll need to get everything (sometimes VRBOs have a decent collection of spices in the kitchen from guests that have left things etc. this place does not offer that.) The coffee maker is a drip coffee maker. The Fireplace worked great...we would turn it on in the morning as we were drinking coffee. The Hot Tub also worked well. Just give yourself time to let it heat up as it takes a little bit. The house is located right next to Fiscalini Ranch Preserve, which a very cool nature preserve that has walking trails for your morning steps. We walked every morning and saw all kinds of different wildlife, from deer, to egrets, to sea 's a very neat feature to have so close to the house. The house also has a stairs that lead down to a beach. I would recommend this house to anyone that is looking for a world class view along with a relaxing vibe.

This house has plenty of room & very comfy beds.The view was outstanding & the patio area is where you want to hang out. The neighborhood is very quiet. The kitchen is large enough to have several in the kitchen together which is nice because we cooked as a team. We were able to park in the garage to keep the salty fog off our cars. The house was cozy from the gas fireplace. Heater worked great also, but we so enjoyed the fireplace. One thing that is frustrating is you have to get the key to the property at the business in Cambria. My in-laws had to wait at the property while we got the key. My FIL needs assistance getting from the car to the house & they had to wait for us to bring the key. You have to drop the key off on your way out.The house could be a bit cleaner. In the bathroom up stairs there is large sky light. Lots of cobwebs and little spiders. Also we pulled a large amount of dark hair from the upstairs shower. We did this right when we got into the shower the first time. I have blonde hair. The flat sheet on the upstairs bed had a textured stain on it. I couldn’t find another sheet to exchange it so we were stuck with it. Some of the towels had the washing machine sour smell. This is from the towels sitting in the washer too long. This is the second home we have rented from this company having this problem. Not trying to be picky, but this rental was expensive and I expected better for the amount we paid. I would come back & try it again.Staff very nice

Our family of 5, all adults stayed in this beautiful home for a birthday celebration weekend and wine tasting. The 3 bedrooms, (all en-suite) were fantastic. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, as we cooked one evening. We loved the stunning ocean view right from the living area and wonderful balcony looking right down onto the beach. There is a hot tub on the balcony, but we didn’t take advantage of it. We loved that there was beach access right from the home with the steps and handrails. We spent two days in Paso Robles wine tasting, and one day in San Simeon and Cambria. Highly recommend this home. We will definitely stay here again. Communication with the property management office was good.

I wanted to love this more but the other reviews about the outdated interior are correct. Batteries not working in remotes. I did call and they said there are extra in the kitchen. Wrong kind. No shower amenities, no soap in the kitchen, one of windows facing the ocean lost their seal so it’s foggy at all times. Pillows uncomfortable, checker board with zero checkers, just little things like that that do add up. Location is amazing but for the price you’d think they would take a bit more care. Upstairs bathroom had a horrible smell so our daughter used ours. Carpets have huge stains, jacuzzi cover has only one clip that works, tub in master is out of order…would not stay here again.

We loved being right at the beach and enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. Being next to hiking trails and close to town was ideal

One of the large windows has been clouded with moisture between the glass panes, rendering the lookout from the whole window pretty much useless. Other than that, there many stains on the carpet (heard it was being replaced), one shade in the Main Bedroom did not work, the mattresses in the Main and 2nd floor bedrooms have seen better days. One last minor thing. For 6 coffee drinkers, the coffee pot takes forever! Still, our favorite place in Cambria.

This house is even better in person than in the photos. The location and views simply can’t be beat. We spent a large part of our stay outside on the deck soaking in the views and enjoying whales, otters, dolphins and more. The inside is a little dated as the pictures show but it was very very clean and pristine inside. The kitchen is very well equipped which is always appreciated. We had 3 couples and the layout was perfect for our group. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

The house is spacious and comfortable, perfect for our family gathering. Very clean. Enjoyed the hot tub at night while gazing at the stars! One important suggestion: please replace or repair the large picture window that has condensation so the views can be fully enjoyed. The BBQ needs maintenance; the igniter didn’t work. I enjoyed cooking but couldn’t find a cheese grater or whisk. Overall, I highly recommend Sandy Beach!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly come back again. The property and location were everything we had hoped for and more. There were several small maintenance items but nothing that impaired our stay.

We've vacationed in Cambria several times. We like it. This home would get one star but for the location and sound of the waves. Carpet is dirty and needs to be relaced. So do sheets and pillows. Picture windows and plexiglass on deck are stained and dirty.Mgmt company hasn't paid attention.
