Stunning, New 2 bedroom Unit Minutes from Alyeska Resort

The host thought of lots of little details, which was appreciated, even for our short stay! Places for lots of suit cases, enough towels available for all 5 of us, a little shelf up by the high bed, even! Other reviews complained about noisy neighbors, but we had a peaceful, quiet overnight, and the best sleep some of us have had since we’ve been in AK!

Beautiful views of mountains from every window. Perfect base to explore outer Anchorage areas. Host Christy was helpful with restaurant recommendations. Cabin was exactly as described and met our needs. Lower unit was noisier later at night, but earplugs were available.

Great property in beautiful Girdwood. Close to trails and Alyeska Nordic Spa. Beautiful views from the extensive porch. We would definitely book again!

This was a great place to stay. It's tucked away in the neighborhood. It had a nice view and was a clean, quiet place to stay.

It was a strange set up. The property was otherwise excellent, the views and everything but you can not talk amongst yourself after 9pm because the owner living downstairs has a room upstairs and you share probably a plain particle-board in-between. This is in no way sound proof in any which way. The owner would aggressively knock the door after 9pm if you talk. Although we live down-under in Australia, we don’t go to bed at 9.00pm. Does everyone go to bed at 9.00pm?

Clean, comfortable, attractive upstairs unit with large windows facing beautiful views of the mountains. Convenient to Girdwood and the Turnagain Arm area. Host was helpful with suggestions of restaurants. Definitely recommend!

The place was amazing, the town amazing, all the suggestions that homeowner made were perfect. We absolutely enjoyed ourselves in Girdwood and will definitely be going back. We will definitely be booking the exact same place.

Great stay.

Great place to stay and overall a good experience. A true Alaskan experience and we liked that it was tucked away. Only complaints are that it was loud when others were there renting the adjacent rental unit. We didn’t sleep well due to the house shaking and it being loud when occupants walked on the long deck entryway.

The apartment was very nice and clean. Check in instructions were easy to follow. We did have a little trouble finding the driveway to the house but after a little driving back and forth on the road we figured it out if there was a sign with the house number by the road we didn't see it. The view of the mountains from the deck is beautiful. The rooms were clean and well maintained. About the only thing that I thought was lacking was no instructions on how to use the TV. There is a TV in the bedroom that I could not get to turn on at all and the very nice TV in the living room didn't have any instructions on how to access anything but one channel. There were two remotes under the TV but I'm not sure what the one was for. After a long day of flying it would have been nice to relax and watch TV before going to sleep but all we could find was one movie which look to stupid to watch.

The place is great! Wonderful location with a jaw dropping view. Very close to several choices of eateries as well as to the Alyeska resort and tram. The condo is nicely furnished and extremely clean. Communication was very clear and everything went very smoothly! I highly recommend!

This place is in a very nice location and has an excellent view. The host was responsive to our questions.

All was great until we were told check out was at 11:00 when we were finishing loading the washer and taking out the trash at 11:04.

This is a great place. We were only here one night but the kids said they wanted to live here. It is clean and spacious and has all the amenities of home. The view in the morning off the back deck is awesome.

The property was very nice. The view from the deck was spectacular. The bed was a bit too soft, but very clean. All of the little kitchen things that you would need are present. We enjoyed the stay.

This place was wonderful! A great little upstairs apartment with two rooms, which made for a comfortable stay for my fiancé and I. They had some essential stuff in the kitchen which was nice like coffee and some condiments. There were some other guests staying downstairs and it seems like the walls are a bit thin, and you could hear loud noises, but nothing terrible. The views were great and a wonderful location to Girdwood which is a beautiful little town with great restaurants and stunning views! We would stay here again, maybe during ski season next time!

Great place to stay for a night!

We flew into Anchorage but didn’t want to stay in the city. Very cute unit in Girdwood. Unit was clean and had everything we needed. We only stayed one night but would definitely stay again.

Christy place was beautiful and clean. The apartment is on the second floor and has a wooden walkway connecting it to the driveway. The view from the living area is spectacular. The place is beautiful decorated and the kitchen is well stocked. Christy was cordial and professional during correspondences.

Christy’s VRBO exceeded our expectations. The view is spectacular and she provides a comfortable, clean environment. Despite my changing the reservation twice due to family obligations/family illness, she was easy to work with and made herself available.

Great Mountain View’s. House is nicely finished
