We had such a lovely stay!! This was hands down the best vacation home we have stayed in. Jackie was a wonderful host and a pleasure to communicate with. The views of Lake Michigan from the home are stunning and we loved the easy access to the beach (and the incredible sunsets). The home is very clean and welcoming. There’s thoughtful touches and beautiful artwork everywhere. We especially appreciated the use of paddle boards, beach chairs, toys and umbrellas. This really helped make our time at the beach memorable. We cooked most of our meals and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. Our kids enjoyed making castles in the sandbox on the deck. We hope we can come back next year and maybe stay longer!

Excellent location, right on Lake Michigan, and the accommodations are wonderful. House is equipped with nearly all your kitchen needs, as well as essentials for the beach. This is our second year renting the house and we plan on returning again next year.

Year six. Another blissful vacation at Jackie’s. We could not have asked for more. The weather was beautiful and the Lake and property gave all they could for our enjoyment. This year we booked another fishing excursion and visited Country Dairy. Everyone enjoyed it but I really thought it was amazing. Jackie we’ll be back to see you next year.

Beautiful views, wonderful deck, and amazing access to a private beach. This was our second stay here and it was just as great as we remembered. The house is well-equipped with everything you might need and Jackie, the host, was wonderful to communicate with. Can't wait to come back!

This is the third time I've stayed in this cottage, and I would never go anywhere else. It's spotless, the kitchen is very well stocked with everything anyone could need, and it's perfect for my family, with games and toys for every age. My grandson loves the variety and now knows exactly where all his favorite toys are. Outdoor activities are well equipped, too, with kayaks, a variety of life jackets, and sand toys, Thank you for a wonderful week!

Our stay at the house was great! It was the best equipped vacation home we have ever stayed in. Any kitchen items, spices, oils, vinegars, etc were available. It also had kayaks and a paddle board for guest use. Additionally, there were children’s toys that our grandson played with. The house was right on Lake Michigan with a beautiful walkable beach. The deck was wonderful and we sat out there not only during the day but in the evenings as well. Beautiful star gazing. This was our family vacation for the summer ( with all our kids and grandson) and it was a wonderful place to vacation. We really enjoyed the house and location and would like to reserve again. We highly recommend this rental.

The photographs do not capture how great the house is and the splendor of the beach. The house is easily the cleanest and best equipped vacation home that we have ever rented. The beach offers plenty of sand and is great for long walks. Deck is great for hanging out and watching the spectacular Lake Michigan sunsets.

2024 was our fifth year staying with Jackie. We have always enjoyed an amazing time at her home. My wife and I host our daughter’s family which consists of her husband and my three grandsons. The boys are aged 7, 6 and 4 which comes with a ton of energy. As a result we need to keep them very busy so that our time is enjoyable too. We have found over the years that Jackie’s is a perfect setting to achieve this. With the Lake just steps from the back door, a stock of books, puzzles, games, toys and Meinert Park just a short walk north, there is always something to do even on rainy days. Over the years we have branched out to enjoy many other events in the area. We have visited Lewis’ Farm, rented a pontoon, chartered a fishing trip, taken in the car show parade, visited many breweries and travelled down to Muskegon to enjoy what it has to offer. Jackie’s home is always impeccably clean and loaded with most anything a family may find they need. She also provides kayaks and paddle board. My oldest grandson had a blast with those this year! You will not second guess yourself for enjoying this property with family and friends.

This is my second time at this cottage and I will come back. So many thoughtful touches, from a well-equipped kitchen, to extras in the bathroom (swabs, tissues, cotton), to so many toys, puzzles, and games for all ages. My four-year-old grandson was very busy!

We’ve stayed at this home several years and are always so impressed with the attention paid to every detail. Very well-stocked with everything you need, so packing lightly is a great benefit. The home is spotless and well-maintained, as well as decorated so nicely with artwork and other fun trinkets. The full-length deck overlooking Lake Michigan is perfect for lounging, watching the sunset, grilling, etc. The beach has been great the last couple of years, with kayaks and a paddle board available for use. Jackie is always attentive, very gracious and makes sure all of your needs are met. We always look forward to coming back the next time!
