Stayed Apr 13, 2026A wonderful homestead Only difficulty was there were no toilet or bathroom downstairs for the 4 bedrooms there and a narrow staircase up to those upstairs We managed but with some effort, especially at night. The rest of the house surpassed all our expectations. One suggestion for safety is to have a yellow line painted on the lowest step of the stairs from the car park area to the house as everything is grey and hard to distinguish.House and grounds picturesque and lovely and close to all tourist destinations.

This beautiful and historic homestead and gardens transport you to a past era with mod cons and comfort for all 12 guests. We would highly recommend this home as a special stay for a large family or friends group.
