Stunning Family Friendly Home on 12 Acres!

Great property. Everything you need for a large family gathering. Basically just bring food and clothes. Everything else is there. We had 5 couples with children. Plenty of room with great outdoor amenities to entertain adults and children alike. The chicken coop, sand box, outdoor fire pit, zip line and swing sets will keep all ages entertained. Additionally several quiet areas for those needing to do some work while away from home. This property is a gem.

The property was perfect for our group of 16 with a mix of 7 kids and 9 adults. It was surprising how easily the house had space for our group. The owners had great communication. The house has beautiful, classy spaces but maintains a welcoming, comfortable feel. The kids loved the zipline, the trampoline, and feeding the chickens. The adults enjoyed the hot tub, the basketball hoop, and also feeding the chickens. The property's location allowed us just a short drive to Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Wind, Pike's Peak Cog Railway, and downtown Colorado Springs, but is out of the hustle and bustle. We can wholeheartedly recommend staying here on your next vacation!

The property was perfect for our extended family. Great front porch and back deck plenty of beds, baths, and open areas. The home was immaculate, beautiful and practical.Lots of outdoor activities for the children – zip line – outdoor space for with fire pit – swings. All in a beautiful setting pine and aspen trees.Megan was especially helpful and communicated well. So very thoughtful in so many ways.

This property is amazing! It was perfect for a family vacation. The house and property was a great experience for our grandkids. The kids could play outside without worry. In fact, our grandkids did not want to leave! Thank you Megan and Jared for quick communication and how you made us feel at home in your property.

We fell in love instantly with this home where we stayed to celebrate our son’s USAFA graduation; as a preppie he spent 5 years in Colorado Springs which means we were here a lot! 13 of us across three generations enjoyed this home and all its amenities. The drive to the North Gate on base was a breeze, the neighborhood very quiet and private. The owners were very responsive to any needs or questions we had. The chicken coop was a favorite as was the hot tub and patio swings on the lower level. The lower level living area is where the Gen Z’s spent much time playing games. The main level deck was a perfect and peaceful place to enjoy the sunrise with a cup of coffee and spot the occasional hummingbird. The kitchen space is quite well appointed and easy to entertain a larger group. Those who needed to work remotely found quiet space to do so as well. The beds were all comfortable and the water from the tap was very good to drink with the temperature hot or cold on demand. Anything you could need is within a 15 minute drive. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Don’t hesitate booking if you are lucky enough to find it available.

We enjoyed your lovely home very much. The room arrangements worked well for all of us. We loved the beautiful back porch with a dinner table. We ate many meals out there. The front porch was also a great escape as we watched the kids play tin the great yard. Zipline was a big success with the kids as were the chickens!! Thank you for allowing us to rent your home for a week!! = )

Our stay included 14 individuals ranging from the parents to their youngest grandchild of 3 months old. The house was very spacious with enough bedrooms for everyone, including individual rooms per adult couple (4). The kids had plenty of beds to sleep in as well if they shared (but they chose to sleep on the pullouts in the playroom). We all agreed that it was more than enough space for parents to allow the kids to play while we enjoyed some adult conversation and cook meals without littles running around our feet. Sooooooo much outdoors space for the kids to explore safely (not to mention seeing the horses and other farm animals next door!). They also got a kick out of grabbing the eggs in the morning. The house was clean and very well maintained. The photos shown are 100% accurate to what it looks like present day. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. In terms of nearby things to do, there was a bit of driving to get to those, but if you’re looking for a house of this size to accommodate a large family gathering, they would be far and few between to be any closer. The owners/family were incredible to work with as well and very attentive to any needs we had. They valued our privacy when there were things that needed to be done on the property (coop cleaning and normal hot tub maintenance), checking in first to see when we were going to be gone. And it always helps to know the neighbors were very friendly as well, to give an idea of the area.

We had the best time! Everyone of all ages had fun and had something to do! We made so many memories in this home. We were able to cook all of our meals. We were able to lounge and play games play outside. There was so much to do at the house, we were also close to pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods and Focus on the Family. There were so many things to do. It was a wonderful week.

What a house! Better than the photos and everything you could ever want! My husband and I were hosting a wedding for our daughter in Black Forest and this house was for our children and spouses to spend time together between wedding activities. The home is beautiful, with every amenity you need. The property gorgeous. The hosts were so personal, kind and clearly parents of a beautiful family.
