Beach Access & Distance
The home is located in Cypress Dunes, a private gated community surrounded by Topsail Hill Preserve State Park. There is no direct beach access from within the neighborhood. The nearest access points are Stallworth Beach Access, approximately 1.2 miles away, about a 4-minute drive or short bike ride, with limited parking and no facilities, and Dune Allen Beach Access, about 1.4 miles away, roughly a 5-minute drive, offering restrooms, showers, water fountains, ADA access, and ample parking. Most guests choose to drive the short 4–5 minutes with their beach gear, though bikes and golf carts are also great options.

Pets
We welcome dogs and aim to be flexible. Up to 2 dogs are allowed, with many exceptions made. There is no weight limit, and we have hosted everything from small breeds to large dogs. A $150 pet fee applies per stay. Dogs should be house-trained. A dog bowl and small crate are available. The backyard is not fenced due to community rules, though there is a large screened-in porch. Cats may be considered on a case-by-case basis with an additional $150 fee due to allergies. Walton County regulations do not allow visiting dogs on the beach, though they are welcome in the neighborhood and nearby state park.

Golf Cart
A brand-new, high-end, street-legal 6-seater golf cart is available as an optional add-on for guests. Pricing is $100 per day for week-long stays or $1,200 for monthly stays, and it must be reserved for the full stay. The cart is street-legal along 30A with a top speed of about 26 mph and is ideal for getting to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Guests must be at least 25 to rent and 21 to drive. Golf carts are not permitted on Highway 98. Many guests choose this option as parking is much easier, especially during peak season. Local rental companies are also available if you prefer a shorter rental period.

Check-in & Check-out
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Early or late times may be available depending on the schedule, though same-day turnovers typically do not allow flexibility. For guest security, the address and access details are shared approximately 48 hours prior to arrival through your booking platform.

Property & Amenities
Guests enjoy full access to Cypress Dunes amenities, including an infinity pool with Gulf views, hot tub, fitness center, tennis courts, and a sunset deck at the clubhouse, all within a short 3–5 minute walk. The pool is heated seasonally from November through March, while the hot tub is available year-round.

The home is fully equipped for a comfortable stay, including 6 beach cruiser bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, and toys, a propane grill, high-speed WiFi, smart TVs in every room, and ensuite bathrooms for all three bedrooms. A pack and play is available for families. The kitchen is well stocked with a coffee maker, blender, air fryer, crock pots, hand mixer, cookware, and essentials for preparing meals at home.

The home features three bedrooms and three bathrooms, accommodating up to 8 guests. The primary suite includes a king bed, fireplace, private screened porch, and ensuite bath. The second bedroom offers a king bed and ensuite bath, while the third includes a queen bed and bunk bed, also with its own bathroom.

Location & Getting Around
Located on the quieter western end of scenic 30A, the home offers a more relaxed atmosphere while still being close to everything. Seaside and WaterColor are about 15 minutes away, Sandestin and Baytowne Wharf are about 10 minutes, and Destin is roughly 20 minutes. Grocery stores, restaurants, and shops are all nearby, with biking and golf cart access along 30A and the Timpoochee Trail just minutes away. Topsail Hill Preserve State Park is adjacent to the community and offers excellent hiking, biking, and nature experiences.

Booking & House Rules
The community requires a 6-night minimum stay. The primary guest must be at least 25 years old. Maximum occupancy is 8 overnight guests, strictly enforced. Smoking is not permitted inside the home. RVs and trailers are not allowed within the community. Parking is available for up to 3 vehicles in the driveway. Day visitors are welcome in moderation, though parties and large gatherings are not permitted.

Additional Information
UPS and FedEx deliveries can be made directly to the home, while USPS packages must be picked up at the local post office nearby. Parking is available at Dune Allen Beach Access, though it can fill up during peak times, making bikes and golf carts a convenient alternative. Beach chair setup services and grocery delivery options are available in the area for added convenience.

    House is just as described. Very nice and set in an upscale development. Host is very quick to respond to inquiries. Had a very pleasant stay and would rent again. Contrary to an earlier review, the clubhouse is just a short walk from the house.

    Home and neighborhood wonderful. Very quite and away from hustle and bustle but still very close to the beautiful beach and restaurants via golf cart, bike or car. Onsite Pool was amazing. Was told that they were adding a kiddie pool but main pool was still nice for kids.

    We loved staying at Cypress Dune. The location was so convenient to everything. The house was great and very spacious. The complex had a beautiful infinity pool, and the property was wonderful for our daily walks. The weather turned a bit chilly and the two gas fireplaces were perfect. We would highly recommend renting this beautiful house.

    The house is perfect, beautiful, comfy and convenient to everything while still being private and relaxing. The neighborhood is perfect for strolling, the pool is spacious and private with a peek-a-boo view of the ocean with plenty of space and very clean bathrooms. The gym was small but had everything you need. Peter was super helpful and responsive to any question we had. The golf cart really came in handy for getting to and from the beach and getting to places that were close. I would highly recommend this property without question and hope to be back real soon!

    My Wife, teenage son and I really enjoyed staying at this Property Memorial Day Week. Home is beautiful with a well stocked Kitchen. Enjoyed being able to take our Springer Spaniel, and the Neighborhood is great for early morning walks. We really enjoyed the Neighborhood Clubhouse and quiet Infinity pool and swam everyday. Quick 5 minute walk. Several Beach accesses about 5 minute drive away. We tried several, rented an Umbrella/ Chairs further up the Beach one day, most days we took Chairs and Umbrella from the Property to a closer access. Host Peter was very quick to respond to any questions, much appreciated. Would love to go back to that House in the Future!

    This house was fantastic - in a small, newer looking community close to topsail state park. The house was well equipped with beach gear, bikes, dishes, utensils, plenty of towels, etc etc. Peter was incredibly responsive to all of our questions. Look forward to returning in the future.
