Stunning 2-Building Rental - Walk to Marina!

I really wanted to love this place. The location is fun (there is a nice hike on an island and a beautiful lake) and the layout of the property was unique. However, it is not capable of hosting guests at the moment. Note that this was the very cold Thanksgiving weekend where the temps would go below freezing. We had 12 guests including 8 children. When we arrived the heat was broken in the main house. It never was fixed. Instead they provided us space-heaters, which was incredibly dangerous to run 24/7. Completely unacceptable with small children.In the guest house it is clear they have a leak in their toilet. Probably in the rubber gasket. And by the looks it has been there awhile. We had to stop using that particular bathroom because it reeked liked sewage when you would flush it. This was also not resolved. I would highly recommend you do not stay at this location. They are in violation of the property not being Guest Ready. Was promised resolution on these matters but have not heard back from them.Stay away

All in all it was a good experience. The washer didn't work the best but besides that I donthave any complaints. It was a great set up for our big group.

Very nice place to stay. It was clean, close to two marinas, and spacious. The hosts replied quickly to all my questions.

Everything went well with the house. It was clean, the hot water and all the appliances worked well. With it next to the lake, it worked well for the boat and swimming and fishing.

The way they have the house & other building set up, is nice. You can be together as a group but still have your own space. Beds were not comfortable, suggest taking a mattress topper or something to cushion the beds some & the water pressure was extremely low but that could be from all the congestion in that area. I enjoyed the location, marina, swinging bridge, pizza place, & another restaurant within close range. Cute decor, nice deck & chiminea, take extra toilet paper & trash bags with you. Easy check in, no disturbance during our stay.

Convenient, clean, easy parking and Pleasant Grove/Swinging Bridge just down the hill. Cedar Hill Marina, too.

We had a great stay. Nice property! Very clean! Contact person was very responsive to any of my questions.

chickens across the street making noise day and night. Party across street at other site late. half o roll of toilet paper minimal other supplies 2 trash bags and a decayed dead MOUSE under the sink and mouse poop everywhere. abandoned trailer next door and it was NOT walking distance to marina and that marina does NOT do boat slips. Washer is all but broken along with toaster that doesn't toast.

This property was excellent for our three families that love to vacation together. Having two kitchens was so helpful along with the outside gathering spot and spacious family room. The decor was so clean and fresh. And so close to the marina! We are already planning a return trip!
