Stayed Apr 20, 2025I had booked it. We had stayed there before and it was fine, the owner instructed me that because your website would not allow me to cancel the booking. We had to pay for this day anyway which we didn’t even use. Will probably avoid Vrbo in the future. This website is not friendly.

Stayed Dec 20, 2024We enjoyed the house very much, the heater kept us warm and cozy during the cold nights and there was plenty of hot water for our group of 8. The house was decorated in an inviting way and there was ample space for us too. While there were plenty of bath towels and bathroom hand towels in the house - there was only 1 single wash cloth for bathroom use. The host delivered additional wash cloths the morning after check-in, they were new with tags and needed laundered in my opinion before we felt comfortable using them. I was relieved to find suitable laundry soap in the laundry closet. There were few kitchen linens which put us in a spot when we were left with a mess after finding out the Keurig machine was broken and leaked water all over the counter top. Cookware items were lacking as well. All the pots and pans had significantly scratched non-stick coating and were very small. We found 2 piles of what looked to be dirty bed linens waded up and unfolded. One filling a laundry basket, and the other laying on top of the dresser in the upstairs closet; the host said they were clean. Communications with the host were solely through the VRBO platform; we were not given any other way of contacting the host. After our stay the host said they would be buying more linens and stocking the kitchen with additional cookware and a new Kuerig machine. We accidently left a personal item behind and the host made allowances for us to retrieve the item after checkout.

Stayed Nov 26, 2024Great historical house. Nicely decorated. Just in need of lots of updates and a good spring cleaning all around. It worked well for us and we enjoyed staying there. Many things broke due to being old and needing to be updated.

Stayed Jul 28, 2024Beautifully furnished, large kitchen. While it does have 3 king-sized beds, 2 of them are in the same upstairs room that also had a tv and smaller room with 2 twin beds. Great if you’re there with family and lots of kids. One drawback - None of the rooms had dressers to store clothes. But overall a wonderful property.
