Stayed Mar 19, 2024The house is clean and quiet with a picket fence, hardwood floors, and easy parking. I didn’t know the studio would be up a flight of stairs in an attic room, ie a sloped roof. I enjoyed it and got good value for my money but I would not stay there if I was on business or had mobility issues.

Stayed Mar 15, 2024This is a cute loft property. Not ADA accesible. The ceilings on both sides were lowly slanted so you had to watch your head if you woke up during the night. TV had Fire TV but you had to use your own account to watch anything. Bathroom had same slanted ceiling, so again...careful standing up when getting off toilet. There is no kitchen per se but had a small cute retro looking dorm style fridge with matching microwave, a toaster, a Kuerig with a few flavor choices, utensils and glasses/cups. When you entered through the side door, it appears that the entryway is secure to the stairwell but there was this glass door that lead to main house that was questionable. Stairs lacked railings half-way up. Motion activated light at foot of stairs worked fine when entering but did not kick on as you were coming down until you got to the railings...so coming down in the dark was a little harrowing. Door to loft at top of stairs did not close but had a latch lock. There was no thermostat so you were at the mercy of where the AC was coming from downstairs, but there was a portable AC/dehumidifer in the room that could be used if too hot. Didn't appear to have a heat setting. Bed was OK. Shower had good pressure and hot water but shower curtain rod kept falling down.
