Stayed Dec 20, 2025Our host was very nice. The cottage was nicely decorated for Christmas, however, there was a terrible smell in the house that hinted of vermin. I also saw a mice dropping on a chair. We cut our stay short. The kitchen had stronger odor. It was disappointing because the house itself reminded me of the movie The Holiday.

Stayed Nov 26, 2025The host is absolutely wonderful and the house is so very cute. My wife and I rented it for Thanksgiving and it was decorated for the holiday which was a lovely touch.We will definitely stay again in the future!

Stayed Aug 2, 2025Charming antique property full of character with private backyard, minutes to everything in Old Saybrook. Note- bedrooms half bath are upstairs along with lovely family room, full bath with shower is down. Property was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay!
