'Stones Throw' Lakeside Home - Walk to Marina + Town + Assoc Beach

Our stay at ‘Stones Throw’ was perfect and reminded us of how much we love Lake Michigan and New Buffalo. The house was perfect for my adult kids. We loved how clean and equipped it was. Highly recommend staying at this property.

We had a wonderful stay! I was most impressed with how clean the entire place was, as well as how well stocked it was with anything we needed and more. The thorough information provided in advance were very appreciated, as well. The king bed was very comfortable, my husband and I joked that we needed to take it home! lol My kids said the other beds were comfortable as well, and we all slept great over our 3 night stay. If we come to the area again, we’ll definitely stay at “stone’s throw” again!

This place was absolutely amazing! Such a great location for a girls weekend trip and a great host. The house had everything we could have possibly needed or wanted. So many extras from games to a well stocked kitchen. We truly enjoyed it all but the sunroom was our favorite - so perfect! We would absolutely stay again!

This Vrbo rental offers a comfortable stay with plenty of amenities. The large kitchen is well-equipped and home has ample sitting areas including a lovely three-season room.However, the property name and description overstated the ease of lake access and proximity, which was disappointing to us as it was the main reason we chose it.

We had a wonderful time. The space was perfectly equipped with everything you need. We have a three year old and this home made it easy to be on vacation with him. Very family friendly, easy to get around, and lots to do both on the house and around the town.

Great place to stay

We stayed at Stones Throw last year for our Notre Dame football weekend and were so happy the house was available this year! Perfect location for everything, restaurants, shopping, wineries, and easy drive to South Bend for the game.

Very nice, spacious home. Had everything we needed for a long weekend. I appreciated that there were plenty of towels for everyone.Lovely place!

Great space for us to spend time with our kids and my parents. Lots of areas to hang inside and outside. Our favorite part was being able to use the bikes from the garage to ride to town…so fun!

This is our 2nd year to stay at Stones Throw. It is a perfect size for 5 adults. Everything is very nice. The kitchen has everything you need. Our favorite room is the 3 season room. That’s where we spent all our time in. I am booking again for next year.

I decided to take my adult children on a mini vacation for some family bonding time. This was the perfect place, we loved everything about this house. It was perfect, very accommodating and so close to everything. The owner's recommendations were spot on. We enjoyed time at the beach during the day and game time and movies at night. Do yourself a favor and stay here for getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay! Great location in a quiet neighborhood, with lots of space. We loved the sunroom. The yard was big, though the weather didn't really allow us to use the outdoor spaces. House is located close to the beach and downtown. Great place!

Lovely property, looks as good as it does in the pictures. Clean, updated, and well maintained. Very quiet neighborhood. We absolutely loved the 3 seasons room. Close to stores and restaurants. Off street parking and easy check in process. The owners were friendly and prompt replying to questions. We would stay there again.

This house had it all! The location was excellent, about 10 min walk to the marina and close to everything. It was in a quiet neighborhood and cute little area. The cleanliness of this house was 12/10! We had everything we needed and more. Ours boys (5 and 2.5) loved the house! Thanks so much for the great place to stay! We can’t wait to come back again!

Sheilah’s place was perfect!! From the moment we stepped in the house, it smelled like a brand new home and was the cleanest place we ever stayed. She had everything you could possibly need & so many extras that we enjoyed. We had some family ping pong matches, played “Clue “, and would have used the fire pit if it hadn’t rained. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch! The private beach was also so special!! We’d definitely stay again!

This is our fifth time staying at Sheilah’s place, and every time the house is even nicer than the last time. Sheilah’s cleanliness and attention to detail are second to none, and I never cease to be amazed at how she is always upgrading the place in both big and small ways.

This house is a gem! It has an open floor plan with very nice furnishings and a lovely screened in sunroom. We visited the neighborhood beach in the evenings to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Had a great stay!
