Welcome to Stones Throw Cottage, a two story retreat on the south end of St. Simons Island that blends relaxed coastal style with an easy, walkable location. Just an 80 yard walk from the beach and close to the Village, pier, parks, shops, and local restaurants, this home offers a comfortable setting for island days and unrushed evenings. With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, Stones Throw Cottage accommodates up to eight guests and is well suited for families or friends looking for a polishedhome base near the best of St. Simons.



Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount of $30/night is included in each reservation. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and even experiences with select vendors! The choice is yours!

Inside, guests will find just under 1,300 square feet of thoughtfully designed living space with beautiful pine floors and an open concept layout that makes gathering effortless. The living area is bright and inviting with coastal inspired décor and a large flat screen TV, perfect for relaxing after the beach. Two private balconies offer an easy place to enjoy the sea breeze and unwind outdoors.

The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, generous counter space, and open shelving stocked with cookware, utensils, and dishware for easy meals at home. A dining table seats six, and the breakfast bar provides additional space for coffee, quick bites, or planning the day ahead.

The home offers flexible sleeping arrangements across the upper levels. The primary bedroom and en suite bathroom with hall access are located on the second level. The guest bedroom and a hall bathroom are located on the top floor. A large secondary den on the top floor includes two pull out sofas, offering additional sleeping space for the group.

Guests of Stones Throw Cottage will enjoy access to the Neptune Park Fun Zone located in the Pier Village from Memorial Day weekend through the end of June, with weekend access continuing through Labor Day. Each reservation includes one complimentary 10-punch card for the Fun Zone Pool and Mini Golf, with one punch required per guest for each visit. (Punch pass must be requested before arrival.)

    Perfect location to relax on the beach and enjoy the quieter life of St. Simons with our senior dog. Appreciate the cleanliness and good communication of host. While there’s only a starter set of household supplies, it was easily enough for the stay. Included beach chairs and a TON of beach towels which was helpful!

    Tthe property was bright and inviting. The location was also very convenient as it was between good restaurants and the pier. It was very close to the beach, and the drive to jekyll was amazing. However, there was mold in the washer. I understand it is a very moist environment, but it may have been skipped over during the reset. Other than that, it was a very pleasing visit, and we cannot wait for the next time we return.

    Everything about our stay was amazing. The property was very clean and well maintained. We felt really comfortable and safe through out the stay and our pup did too. We were only 80 yds away from beach access and the morning sunrises were epic. The property had all we needed and more for the beach. The best part about the location is how central it is to all that St. Simon’s has to offer. It was our first family vacation bringing our dog and overall we had an amazing trip. We will be back again and hope to book this same location in the future.

    Wonderful condo! Extremely clean, great location and walkable to restaurants. Fully stocked kitchen, though we didn’t cook much. Large garage for vehicle and nice outdoor area in back. We loved sitting on porches (2 upstairs/ downstairs). People are very friendly and nice. Quiet location as well. We will definitely use this rental again. Another bonus, was the service to provide umbrellas, lounge chairs , cart and cooler for beach!!
