Stone House | Historic Oceanfront Home with 180° Pacific Views

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Home, views and location are unbeatable. Just frustrated that access code was not sent on a timely manner. Was told it would be sent an hour before 4 pm check in. However it was not sent and no one responded when emergency numbers were called. We arrived in early evening when office was already closed . We were busy attending to flight cancellations throughout the day and getting alternative flights so the last thing we wanted was to solve yet another problem. Could not get groceries as no place to store food. Finally heard back after a few hours but really expected an immediate response. What if it were a true emergency?

This is our second time visiting the Stone House and we will be back. Access to Baby Beach was excellent. The house is well appointed. We cooked every night and had enough supplies to comfortably do this for a family of 4. Quiet area. Don’t forget to watch the turtles in the water to the left of the property. Seen them both times visiting cresting in the waves. Magical place.

Stunning property with amazing views. Perfect to watch the sunset and se the dolphins along the shore. The house was perfect for our two couples. We will be back!

View was absolutely amazing. Beds were comfortable and slept awesome with windows open listening to the waves. Highly recommended!

Kauai is our favorite island and staying in the house made it even better. It’s in the most beautiful location, the house itself is gorgeous, you won’t be disappointed. The home is well stocked with everything you’ll need.

We loved our stay at the Stone House. The most incredible views all the way around the house. Hearing the ocean, day and night, was a highlight for all of us! It was convenient to be near shops and restaurants and we loved visiting Baby Beach. It was a wonderful experience for our family's visit to the south shore of Kauaii.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great location. It's generally private, very peaceful and very convenient for accessing baby beach. It is cool to go out and look at the tide pools and the turtles in the water. General cleanliness could be improved. There was a fair amount of trash from previous users under the bed, behind the dressers, etc. We only saw two very small cockroaches in the house. The porch has a significant number of very tiny ants that do bite occasionally, and this is our biggest complaint. It was slightly challenging having a 3 year old due to the height of the beds and the toilets, but otherwise he loved it. I do agree the property needs a no trespassing sign to keep people from crossing the yard to the public rock space. All the other homes have this sign, therefore people park and cross at this house because it does not.Overall I do recommend this property, and the management company was very responsive and easy to work with.
