We spent there a week, mostly on trips, so we left the gite in the morning and returned in the evening. The place has a nice living room, kitchen and dining room in once. It is a real countryside, so don´t be surprised that there are pidgeons, hens, cows and flies everywhere. We didn´t mind it, we wanted to be in a village, but for some people it could be difficult. The view from the living room is amazing. The village is about 1,5 km down the hill, around the cottage there are 2 other houses and then nothing. It is a quiet place with lovely owners. They are very polite and they don´t speak any English at all, so it is also a challenge! The lady provided us with a lot of home grown vegetables (thank very much) which we barbecued with local sausages every evening. The house is well equipped - washing machine, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, etc. The only thing is stairs. To the house, to the bedrooms and bathroom. The best places for trips are Tournon sur Rhone (a castle, market), Thaïs cave, a boat trip in Roue Royans, and a velorail - I recommend that..

We loved this house and the wonderful views from the living area. It was really well equipped and very spacious. The owner, although she had no English was very friendly and helpful.
