Nice neighborhood quiet place to stay for vacation. The back of the property is a park where you can walk or run.
The layout of the house is unique but worked out perfectly for us. My fiancé and I used the main floor bedroom and his daughter and her two young kids used the upstairs bedrooms.Since there was a living area upstairs as well they used that when they got up and we were able to sleep in! The backyard was not vey well maintained so hopefully that will improve. Our contact was very receptive and responsive to any inquiries or issues we had. We loved the fact that the Canyon View Park is right there and we could walk to the playground.
The house was great. It was extremely warm upstairs. We turned air conditioner on, but still warm. Parking was not easy as there was not any on street parking.
The home accommodated our family trip perfectly. Tons of room.
We were in town to visit family. Our granddaughter loved having the park out our back door. The house was very well stocked. I would suggest you replace the shower head in the bathroom on the main floor. It’s leaking and sprays all over. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.
Great house. Spacious, nice and loved the patio. Only real complaints were air conditioning upstairs was not good but was quite warm in evenings and night. The parking is not great. You can only park in driveway, which was pretty inconvenient.
The layout of the house is unique but it worked perfectly for us. My fiancé and I stayed in the main floor bedroom and his daughter and her two kids were in the bedrooms upstairs and since there was a living area up there also they went there first thing in the morning so that we could sleep in. The backyard was a disaster tho. 3/4th of the yard is astroturf which is fine but weeds were growing up in it and all along the fence the grass and weeds were tall and also along the edge where the turf met the cement. My fiancé who is 74 and has Parkinson’s spent well over two hours pulling out the weeds so that his grandkids could play back there when they arrived the next day. The air conditioner said it was on but we finally figured out that you have to switch the breaker switch in the garage next to the furnace before it will actually run. It would be nice if that fact was listed in the binder. And when the furnace does run it sounds like it is going to fall apart. The light switches in the main floor bedroom don’t work at all. We were able to turn the lamps on manually but never could figure out how to turn on the overhead light in the ceiling. Our contact person was very receptive and helpful with internet issues and when I said we couldn’t find a broom she had one delivered to us that same day.The house was very clean. A rug in front of the kitchen sink would be helpful, to.
This house worked perfect for our family.
We had a good stay. Location was excellent. Close but not too close to CMU and downtown restaurants/bars. Great location to travel to CO National Monument and I-70 (1.25 hours to Moab, UT (Arches National Park)). Thanks!
Besides the kitchen, it could play like two separate living quarters in the same house. Upstairs had bedrooms and movie room downstairs. Had master bedroom, kitchen and living room. Ran out of soap. Otherwise, great location and great place!
this is a perfect property for us to stay and enjoy while we were visiting Colorado mesa university. It was very clean well stocked and communications were great. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting grand junction with a small or large group.
Would have given our stay a 5 star rating except that when the internet went out there was no one to around to help the company get it fixed. My husband waited at the home for close to 4 hours so that the company could repair several lines and replace the modem 4 times. Since we had some work to do it was something that we needed and it was listed as being available, so we had planned on working during our stay Home owners and manager were appreciative...but of course they didn't have to be stuck there for 4 hours with the repairman.
This was perfect for our family to stay here
The upstairs layout is interesting, and takes some consideration with sleeping arrangements depending on what your group looks like. There were 8 of us staying here, 2 families consisting of 4 adults and 4 kids. You don't just go upstairs like normal. You go halfway up to a landing, then it breaks into a few stairs up to two bedrooms on the left, and a few stairs up to the second living room and other bedroom on the right. The two bedrooms on the left share a jack and jill bathroom. One of those has the king with a twin bed that has a trundle and the second has a queen bed. The third bedroom has two twins and is next to the upstairs living room. The master is downstairs with a queen and en suite bathroom. We made this work, but depending on who is sleeping where, you may be going downstairs during the night to use the restroom to avoid walking through someone else's room. I love the low humidity in GJ, but it was HOT a few of our days and the A/C was struggling to keep the upstairs cool. There are no ceiling fans in any of the bedrooms so I bought a couple of cheap oscillating fans to use. I'm from the south so I love my ceiling fans. The listing says it's nestled on a roundabout, and it really is. The driveway is in the roundabout. I've never seen that before, and that is why there is no street parking. The park in the backyard is nice. Always people walking their dogs, riding bikes, etc. Lots of friendly folks that will say hi. We enjoyed sitting out back in the cool mornings, but we needed more chairs. The patio table is a small 4 seater. I think a house for this many guests needs a bigger table and more chairs for outside. Overall it's a good house, and it fit our needs.
My 3 children, their spouses, grandchild, husband and I all stayed quite comfortably in this home. It had everything we needed and was conveniently located to our local family. The park out back was a bonus for our granddaughter. Great garage as well.
The house was perfect for our extended family while in town for our daughter’s graduation from Colorado Mesa University. The park behind the house was beautiful also and allowed us to play some fun outdoor games. We were all very comfortable and thought the house was very nice.
From booking this property to leaving after our stay was painless and straightforward. House was clean and well stocked for cooking meals. We would definitely stay there again. The property welcome book was easy and detailed on what is expected of us.
Nice place. Clean enough but when find pieces to games still on tables it is a little disconcerting. Patio was not cleaned at all. Lots of leaves debris and some dog poop. Lots of dishes and glasses but only 3 forks. Lots of spices but no condiments. Found a list of everything in the place with pricing but couldn’t find everything listed like guest book, tool kit and grill cover. Are we going to get charged for those things? Should we have taken pictures of everything when we arrived? Management took care of some issues right away. No street parking. 2 spots in garage and 2 spots to park in drive which required some jocking every time someone wanted their car. We made the best of it and had a good time!
