Stayed Feb 13, 2026When we arrived to our rental there were already people in the unit we had rented. I called the contact and they found out apparently the cleaners apparently somehow let the wrong people into the unit?? So we had to stay in the lower unit which was MUCH smaller then we rented and far from enough room for our family. The contact said that I would be getting a refund which I have yet to get so we will see.. The unit was nice but definitely not what we rented or would have rented for our whole family. I think that maybe better labeling of the upper and lower unit would maybe help but in this case it turned into a definite disappointment and made the trip very frustrating for everyone.

Stayed Nov 26, 2025Though the owner is very friendly and was initially responsive, our stay started off with walking into a cabin where the heat was set to 50 degrees. It was frigid outside, and it took over 2 hours just to get to 60. Then we discovered pet and human hairs in the beds. It was too late at night for a cleaning crew to bring us clean sheets, so we had to wait for the SHARED washer to be empty so we could wash all the sheets. The couch and chairs were filthy with dirt build-up. The coffeemaker didn’t work - WE bought a new one when the owner didn’t respond (owner gave partial refund).Also, we booked through VRBO, but it’s a Vacasa listing which isn’t disclosed. I overpaid for this place by several hundred dollars because VRBO adds fees on top of the Vacasa fees. I really hate leaving such a bad review, but I would want to know these things before booking a place.
