Steps to the sandy beach, hot tub & family friendly

The home had so much character! The random amenities were awesome, baby gate, outside hose for easy sand removal, and the shutters in the upstairs windows were lovely. The kitchen was also fully stocked with pots, pans, and serving dishes. Thank you so much for a lovely time.

I loved the house itself. There was hair in the sink and cheerio’s in the living room some items left in the fridge. The parking sucked only room for one car says there is parking for 3 cars there is room for 2 SMALL cars is all. To park in the garage you have to park half in the street get out go in the gate open the door to garage go get back in you car and pull in. Tiny Tiny garage. The hot tub was nice and the steps go right down to the beach. The beds were really comfortable. The views were awesome. We could handle the food and hair. Really the only complaint was the parking. It was a great stay once we were settled in.

(There was trash under beds, the group before us should have been charged for the mess they left) Once we were in we LOVED the house, the view was more than we could have hoped for. All 7 of us had our own place to sleep. Perfect house for a big group or 2 families! We all saved the information to come back with our families. Having private access to the beach was a great perk. And the beds were comfortable, not always the case with rental homes.

Great place. Plenty of room for our family. Had everything needed to cook. And the best part was sitting in the hot tub and able to see the ocean.

The house is located in a great location. Right on the beach down a quiet road. The layout of the house is nice for larger groups as there are separate living areas upstairs and downstairs. The hot tub was a hit with the kids and we spent many mornings and night hanging out on the back deck. We did have an issue with the Internet not working the first day which was a huge bummer since we had some work we had to get done on our laptop, but Karyn the property manager was all over it. She had someone come out from the cable company and replace the modem the very next day. She was amazing with her communication! The only other negative thing I could say, was that when we arrived, the floor mats in the bathroom were dirty and smelt like mildew, so we put them in garage. Overall, we highly recommend staying at this property. Karen was excellent to work with. We will definitely be back!

The house was great and the view was outstanding!!

Gaining access into the house was difficult. Had to call for the code as the code provided in the email from VRBO wasn’t correct. Took awhile for the gal to provide me the code. Had WiFi issues throughout the stay and without good cell service in the area, this can be essential for outside communication (family, etc). Called regarding WiFi, gal was a tad insulting regarding the password (said “you also called because you didn’t have the right code for the key”). While I get that things can be annoying, I am a paying customer. The home has amazing views. It’s a little awkwardly set up, and has very steep stairs. The carpet could use replacing and the roof is leaking in some areas. My friends and I still enjoyed ourselves for the weekend and were able to relax and watch the waves.

Space fit everyone and right on the beach for walks and sunsets

The house worked perfect for our family holiday! The view of the ocean is amazing! Being close to the beach with personal access is a treat! The kitchen has most everything you’ll need to cook in.

The house was beautiful!! The view of the ocean was stunning!! The only small downside was it was super cold in the house when we got there, however they provide lots of heaters and it warmed right up. We will be staying here again.

Finally we got into a place right on the beach! Great views. Lots of room to spread out. Hot tub and fireplace worked perfectly.

Wonderful location. House is cute and perfect for families. Great stay!

Property is dated and a little worn out in appearance, but if you’re here for the beach, it’s a winner. Easy walk down the bank to the beach, easy short drive to groceries and Lincoln City. Definitely the highest I’ve paid price wise for just three nights, and in need of newer kitchen supplies, but if you’re willing to pay for beach views, it’s ok.

Can’t beat the location!

We loved the location of this property. Fully stocked kitchen items. Sleeping arangements were perfect for our family.Did need some attention to deeper cleaning.Had a great time.

We had an idea for a last minute trip to the beach and we were lucky to find this gem. Quiet and right on the beach. The kids found so much joy in just being able to walk down the steps to the beach. Close proximity to the store.

Lovely home in a beautiful location

Great location and easy access to the beach. Plenty of rooms for everyone and beds comfortable. We weren’t able to grill because it needed a deep cleaning and I think if carpet was removed there would not be a musty smell. Thankful for the new washer and dryer and quick response when we reached out with a question. Everyone had a wonderful stay.

This is our second time staying here and everything about it is perfect for our three generation family trip. Always pretty clean and plenty of towels and toiletries. The hot tub, the fireplace, the games, everything is just perfect for a relaxing yet fun family vacation. It was a little challenging to use the washer and dryer when it was raining as water pooled up in front of them quite a bit but its totally understandable due to the landscape. My family and I truly enjoyed our trip to this oceanfront rental. We made memories that we will cherish forever. The view was as spectacular as the listing promised, and ending each day relaxing in the hot tub was a special treat. The tide pools on the northern end of the beach are a must! Be sure to tread with caution; there's lots of little ocean life out there! Check-in was easy; early check-in would have been wonderful, but rules are rules. Bathrooms were well stocked; minimal sifting through stained towels. As you would expect from an older home at the coast, things like the shower curtain and heat lamp in the upstairs bathroom were aged (rusting). We would happily book this listing again! Hopefully the property management company has time to button up the small things before then.

Great house, great location, great view. The house had enoght space for everyone had enough space for privacy and big enought dinning room and living room to eat together and play games. My one suggestion is to have trash bins in the bedrooms.

Stunning. Blown away by the view from livingroom. Wow. Loved access to beach close to tide pools. Where we saw barnacles clams starfish and anemonies(?)! Thank you for having providing sand castle tools and buckets for collecting shells and rocks and beach chairs. Home has lots of room to spread out and play hide and seek. Our group was 7, with other family visiting during the day into evening. The dining room table seats 6, great pizza party. We had beautiful sunny days we were definitely blessed with unusually Sunny weather.

This is the perfect beach house for a girls' getaway. Great hot tub, beautiful ocean view/beach access, easy parking, nice kitchen tools, and perfect number of beds/bathrooms for a good sized group (we had six). We want to come back every year!

The house is great - bigger than shown in photos! Beachfront access can't be beat. We had everything we needed and communication was easy. Definitely recommend this Oregon coast gem.

Clean and beautiful access to beach.

First off, thank you for making your home, a home away from home. We had such a wonderful time this last weekend. We, as sisters, needed this time away to reconnect and just be. The home was just what we needed. We never left the house and had all we needed in every way. The hot tub was perfect! The house was nice and big, so all us sisters were able to just relax in our own rooms when we needed. The view was absolutely beautiful, a million-dollar view! We will definitely stay again.

We didn't realize that we would need our logins to be able to get TV (there is no cable, just a smart TV) but we didn't really need the TV. It was a very fun week!!!

The only down sides were the vehicle parking and minor cosmetic construction, i.e. the edge of the deck was coming off, and a door handle knob was inop. Small things.

The view from the living room was great, and it was lovely to be able to walk straight down to the beach anytime we wanted. We had a great stay overall. One thing to note if you are bringing younger kids and/or toddlers - one of the bedrooms can only be accessed through another bedroom...so think strategically!

Loved having a hot tub outside on the deck. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was small but stocked with essentials. Unfortunately the house itself was not very clean, hair on the shower floor, sand in the rug, only 1 roll of toilet paper in main bath for 6 women for 5 days! Upstairs bath had only 2 rolls. Stairs to beach had overgrown bushes covering part of the stairs, very dangerous when wet. The garbage left was very bad, had to call to have picked up. Grotto area when you first arrive was very dirty and with cobwebs everywhere, not great for first impressions. The weather was wonderful and we really enjoyed our stay. Just need to focus better on the cleaning and provide more t-p, especially for a group of women 🙃

Every house I had rented in the past had a terrible dog smell, and there were dog hairs everywhere. I loved having our own private beach access. All beds were pretty comfortable and the house was very clean. The views were priceless. We were there for 4 days and were very sad to leave. We really hope to get this house again for the next 4th of July Weekend. I highly recommend the Shoreline Chateau, you will not be disappointed!!
