Steps to Sea~ 3 bedroom West End~Half Moon Bay STARLINK

This is a nice ground floor condo tucked away on a dirt side road just minutes from the main drag in West End. We had an amazing week and both Missy & Cris were great at check in and kept in touch during the week. Missy hooked us up with transportation from the airport which was key because there are no house numbers or street signs. We would have never found this place! The driver, Jordi, became our new best friend and he was able to drive us all over the island during the week.The condo was very clean and had just about everything you would need. This was a vacation, so my wife and I ate out every day, but the kitchen was fully equipped if needed.There were just the two of us, but the condo could easily handle three couples. Four stars ONLY because electricity is really, really expensive on Roatan and you pay for usage on the way out. We only used the condo to sleep, but we did run the AC during the night and that added an extra 130 to the tab. The shower is oversized and sports a pvc hack for a hot water handle. But this is Roatan and there's no running to the Home Depot so you need to embrace!We spent a day in West Bay and could not wait to get back to the West End - totally different vibe. Very laid back and fun.P.S. - their hot water handles are on the right, not the left! Took me a minute to figure out why the shower water wasn't getting hot. Haha

We had an overall great experience at Missy's place! Just around the corner from the beach, spacious rooms, lots of storage, large drying rack, beach towels, well stocked kitchen with paper towel, basic spices, coffee filters, extra shower supplies. Great communication from Missy and her team throughout our stay. The description is 100% accurate...this is a ground floor unit with no view or direct beach access. There is a cute little outdoor courtyard with a couple of chairs that is within the gated entry. We would stay here again!

We had been to the West End one time before while on a cruise and loved it. I chose Missy's house because of its proximity to the community. We got dive certified while we were there and enjoyed the bars and restaurants all along the beach as well as the rest of the Island.
