My wife and I and our three kids loved our time at this property. The home was clean and comfortable, the backyard was charming, and the location was incredible! It says it’s a one minute walk to the beach, and that is spot on accurate. The beach itself is wonderful for children and snorkeling. We hope to return again someday.

Everything was great, me and my family had an amazing time. My daughter even mentioned she wanted to go back. The home was clean. It was a very quiet environment which we loved.

This was a cozy bungalow where my sisters and I felt comfortable and had a sense of peace.The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. The living room and dining room accommodated all 4 of us and were conducive to hearty conversations, laughter, and fellowship.The short walk to a beautiful, uncrowded beach was great for early morning beach combing and watching sunsets.My sister had just completed her cancer treatments. She told me she returned home ready to live again. Thank you Acacia for being a terrific host and sharing this beautiful home with us.

This place was exactly as advertised. It was clean, had all the things we needed for cooking, and some extra things were there like bug spray and laundry detergent. The beach near this house is absolutely wonderful. Loved this place and would stay here again.

Lovely home a 2 minute walk from a stunning sandy beach. Home was well-equipped and clean without any issues throughout our stay. There is a coffee shop and restaurant a few doors down.

Great private home ina quiet neighborhood. Very easy access, plenty of space, and an easy walk to a (usually) empty beach.

Loved our stay at the bungalow. Great location. With an infant we loved being able to go to the beach without loading up the car. Only gave a 4 because some newer fans could go a long way without AC.

The location is one of our favorite anywhere, with a beautiful walk to a wonderful, low trafficked, neighborhood beach that looks out across Hanalei Bay. The house has nice character and is clean, but is older. It gets hot in the afternoon and into the night on sunny days, as does not have AC. But most places there don't have AC, and you're staying there for the north shore of Kauai, not to spend days in a house. It was perfect for that.

My favorite thing about this property was the birds singing in the morning and the crickets serenading at night. There were a lot of bugs inside and out and lizards, but that’s to be expected staying secluded in the jungle like that. Overall, the place was clean and comfortable. I do think the bedding should be updated. It is old and definitely is beyond feeling fresh. The master shower is a bit odd with the way the shower drain is set up, so that there really is no dry place to stand. Other than that, the layout was really nice. It felt very roomy, and the kitchen was very functional. The neighborhood felt safe and it was an easy walk to the beach. Also not too far from town and there were nice beach supplies to choose from, chairs, umbrellas, ice chests, snorkeling gear, etc.

The location is quiet, ideal distance to the beach, roomy and comfortable. Wonderful host, excellent set up for a family.

Lovely location and perfect location for a family.

Our family loved this spot. The house, neighborhood, beach access are perfect. Great for those who love a true Hawaiian get away. We did loose power for almost 2 days due to a big storm (lots of homes and businesses were affected) which was a little adventure for us. Keith (property management) was awesome, he stopped by to check on us and offer a generator for the frig. Excellent care! We would definitely recommend and would love to return to this spot.

The bungalow location was amazing. We were so close to the ocean we could hear the waves at night. It was a very enjoyable stay. We will stay here again when we return to Kauai.

The property was exactly as advertised—clean, quiet, and in a fantastic neighborhood just steps from a secluded beach with amazing snorkeling. Our family loved every moment and would absolutely stay here again!

Overall the stay was nice. The location is magical and this part of north shore is so beautiful and special. It does seem that nearly every house is a vacation rental, interesting enough! Communication and check in was easy and great. The main reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the bed / mattresses. They seem ancient and practically broke us. That is a true bummer to feel in pain and sore from sleeping/relaxing on vacation. There’s a foam topper on the master that just ends up feeling wet. Wish they’d make an easy upgrade that would cost about what they’d make from one nights stay. Since we had a 2 year old I do wish the curtains were a bit thicker to help black out the room for naps more. As well, since the doors and walls are paper in some places, there’s not a lot of sound proofing or privacy. This is in some other reviews so it’s just a matter of being aware Overall this was a nice little oasis to have for our stay and return to after beach days or adventures around the island. This was a beautiful property with lots of privacy. There was more than enough room for the two of us but we enjoyed the space to spread out and make it our own for the week. We walked to the beach only steps away to watch the sunrise each morning over the mountains and ocean. We enjoyed meeting people in the community and there were four beaches within biking distance. We biked to the Haena State Park and Hiking Trails as well as beautiful Ke Ke Beach. We would stay here again without a thought. Mahalo

This house was incredible! The amenities were as described. The wood detailing on the building and the kitchen was unique. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach, which seemed almost private. Snorkeling was awesome with turtles regularly available to swim with.

The house was exactly what we wanted. Quiet, low key, super close to what might as well be a private beach. We went to numerous beaches while staying here and the one closest to the bungalow was 2nd best (hard to beat Hanakāpī‘ai beach). The outdoor shower was super handy and the house had everything we needed. Remote enough that there’s no noise or light pollution but close enough to shopping and gorcery stores. Just about perfect.

The house was a perfect hideaway for our family. Plenty of room, very clean, and lots of fresh air. Our son enjoyed the gravel driveway and sand toys.
