This private cottage is part of our Coos Cottages Collection, offering updated appliances and amenities throughout. Fully furnished, WIFI, full kitchen, Washer and Dryer in unit, and FREE parking on site and FREE street parking.

Fully set up kitchen to make cooking enjoyable and efficient. Full size stainless appliances including refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker and toaster to create efficiency. Dishes, utensils and basic cookware included for your convenience.

Dining area features dining table with seating for up to (6) and each unit is equipped with a desk in the living area to make working remotely a breeze.

Curl up on the comfy sofa with a blanket and a book, or catch up on your favorite shows. Sofa folds out to a full-size bed for additional (2) guests. Large 50-inch flats screen Smart TV, complete with Netflix, and streaming platforms complete the necessities!

There are two comfortable bedrooms, both offering a King size bed. Quality linens provided and closet space for storing guests’ personal items.

Bathroom has a shower and all bedroom and bathroom linens are high-quality and tastefully decorated. Hairdryer and basic essentials and paper products are available for your arrival.

Full-size high efficiency washer and dryer provided in the home. There is free street parking on Ingersoll as well as private designated parking in the back of the units.

Pack and Play is available onsite. Please let us know if you would like us to set up the Pack and Play for you.

Up to (2) Pre-Approved Dogs with an additional $50 per pet fee

Guest Access:
Guests have access to their entire private cottage as well as the washers and dryers in unit.

The Neighborhood:
This property is located approximately 6-8 blocks from downtown Coos Bay and the Bay front. Take a Historic Walking Tour of Coos Bay learn to Build a Boat or Tour the Dunes. Visit downtown’s Coos Art Museum for world class exhibits. Enjoy the nationally acclaimed Oregon Coast Music Festival in July. Visit the annual holiday lights display at nearby Shore Acres State Park in December. Coos Bay’s downtown farmer’s market on Wednesdays is very popular. With the ocean just a few miles away, the Bay, and abundant coastal rivers and forests, you can enjoy great fishing and a wide variety of outdoor activities.

Getting Around:
Downtown Coos Bay is within walking distance and there is limited public transportation.
A trio of state parks are located just 13 miles southwest of Coos Bay: Sunset Bay State Park, Shore Acres State Park, and Cape Arago State Park.
Sunset Bay State Park offers extensive picnic and overnight camping facilities, with a spectacular half-moon bay boasting shallow swimming areas and sandy beaches.
Shore Acres State Park features the luxurious gardens from the original estate of pioneer lumberman and shipbuilder Louis J. Simpson. A fully enclosed observation building now occupies the site of Simpson's mansions, offering spectacular view of rugged seascapes, towering storm waves, and glimpses of migrating whales from December through June. The extensive gardens are home to carefully curated plants from around the world, featuring stunning seasonal blooms and a holiday light display from Thanksgiving to New Year's Eve. Shore Acres Holiday Lights has over 300,000 holiday lights with numerous light sculptures and 30 large trees decorated by community groups, including one by the City of Coos Bay.
One mile to the south, Cape Arago State Park has outstanding overlooks, hiking trails, picnic tables, and excellent opportunities for viewing tidepools life and marine mammals (whales, seals, and sea lions).
A hiking trail, which is part of the Coast Trail, connects the three parks.
If you plan to head out to our wonderful beaches along Cape Arago Highway (which dead ends at Cape Arago) there is a shortcut route from south Coos Bay to Charleston via Libby Lane. It makes Charleston 10 minutes away versus 20 or 30 minutes going through town.

Other Things to Note:
We are happy to share our vacation home with others and hope that you will enjoy it as much as we do! We also appreciate when guests treat it like they would their own! There is a complete list of instructions at the home including WI-Fi passwords and check out details.

~You may be required to provide a photo of your Drivers License or Government ID directly to the host. This is for the safety and security of both guests & property Owners, and will be requested at the discretion of Stay in My DIstrict.
~ No additional guests and visitors/guests that are not registered on the reservation booking are allowed to be on the property after 10pm.
~ Smoking anywhere on the property will result in forfeiture of your entire deposit plus can result in additional fees up to $500 for smoke removal.
~ Housekeeping is required and provided every 15 days for an additional charge on all stays over 15 nights.
- Self Check In using digital door lock and private code. Check-In is any time after 4:00PM and Check-Out is by 11:00AM.
- FREE parking on street and 2 designated spaces in back.
- Pack and Play must be requested ahead of time as it is in storage. It is shared and on a first come basis.
PET FEE: $50 per dog Pet Fee for up to 2 pre-approved dogs.
Please also be aware of our pet policy:
We are happy to welcome your well behaved, and house trained dog into our home! We do NOT accept Cats due to allergies. There is an additional pet fee of $50 per pet, as per my listing details. We will go ahead and request the fee via an alteration request after the booking is confirmed. Please accept ASAP to confirm authorization.
-Pets should not be left unattended at the property inside or outdoors. We do have kennels available on request for an additional fee.
-Please pick up after your pets in outdoor areas immediately.
-Pets are NOT allowed on furnishings or linens. Evidence of pets on furnishings or linens will result in additional cleaning fees to guest.
-Pet fee accounts for additional cleaning and normal wear & tear due to hosting pets. Pet fee does NOT cover damage or additional cleaning above and beyond reasonable

    Clean, cute place with convenient appliances, coffee, tea. Beds were comfortable, towels were numerous. Location is alittle industrial though felt safe.

    Property’s furniture, fabrics, etc all had a really pungent odor. It smelled like cigarettes, soiling from previous pets, and chemicals. Property manager was contacted the evening I checked in about the odor, and they didn’t respond until the next day. I was unable to stay in the home for more than an hour due to the smell causing me to have difficulty breathing and eyes swelling. All of this was described to property manager and they only offered to refund 1 night instead of 2 nights despite their property being unable to be used due to the unsafe odor. I reached out to VRBO to find assistance to get a refund for 2 nights. Upon reaching out to VRBO, the VRBO employee connected the property manager and I on a live phone call between the three of us, which was insane, leading the property manager to first say, “we would have issued a refund for the two nights if she had reached out the night previous,” to which I responded, “there is written, documented evidence of me reaching out to you the night previously that the VRBO representative has also viewed.” The property manager then lied in front of us and said “well you contacted us too late in the evening.” The property manager also tried to claim that I had stayed the night there, and I had to again rebuttal and refute that lie on this phone call and say “absolutely not. Your property has video cameras. There is video evidence of me leaving the property at 11pm and never returning.” She refused to refund me for 2nd night.

    We had an unexpected charge right before our departure. The explanation didn't make sense for a company that purports to have upfront pricing. Then we experienced a mouse visiting. When I reported it, it did happen to be a federal holiday. I would have expected more of a response though than, we can't address it today and keep the outer doors closed. There were already mouse traps on the exterior. Couldn't an exterminator be called to check traps? We loved Coos Bay. The Farmer's Market on Wed. was wonderful. We went to both 7 Devils Brewing locations and had great service, food and drink. The three state parks south of Charleston were incredible. Overall a fantastic stay for our family, but management could have had a better response to such a gross problem.

    This is a very comfortable, clean and well appointed place in Coos Bay. The neighborhood lacks charm, but it is so convenient and blocks away from downtown. The TV didn’t work while we were there, and the owner replied right away to my message about it. I would definitely stay again.
