Stay near Point Defiance Park in our charming 1-bedroom cottage

Excellent location, we had an event at the zoo and this place was perfect for our needs! It was very clean, cozy, and comfortable. Loved the kitchen and large fridge!

Lovely 1 bedroom home with all the amenities. Quiet neighborhood, excellent for walking the dog, and an enclosed back yard. Comfy bed & couch and a well stocked kitchen. I will definitely stay here again.

I highly recommend staying at this cottage. It had everything we needed. It was perfect. Very comfortable beds, great location, quiet neighborhood and so much more!! I definitely plan to stay here again and the owner was great at getting back to me quickly when reaching out.

Oh my gosh, where to begin! This was an amazing find in every way! The owner, Nora, was wonderful—she communicated clearly and quickly. The cottage was beautiful and extremely clean! The bed was cozy, the kitchen was great, the backyard was a nice surprise too… and even had lawn darts! Nora thought of everything! I just can’t rate this high enough, so we will definitely be back!

Great spot for 2 adults and a dog to stay for the week while visiting friends nearby. Love the fenced in backyard for the puppy and the extra space for her for run around.Easy check in and check out process and access to private parking.I’ll definitely stay here again while visiting my friends around the corner.

Compact, efficient, neat & tidy and everything in perfect working order! We stayed for a week and really enjoyed our stay. Point Defiance Park was beautiful and just a short walk away. Backyard was great for our pup. Parking was close and ample. Hostess always responded to queries promptly. We highly recommend staying here!

My wife and I absolutely loved staying at this listing. Very clean, secure, and comfortable. Appreciated up-to-date remodel and appliances as well as being pet friendly (the backyard worked out perfectly!). We appreciated all the touches from the host (the nice message on the welcome board, dog toys left out, and towel folding skills). Would definitely recommend and would stay again if visiting the area!

Also, Nora was very responsive and she's thought of all the details...even for our pup. We go to a convention down this way every summer...we now know where we'll stay if it's available. Beautiful home in a family friendly safe neighborhood. Very affordable and had everything we needed. Owner was also very responsive. Point defiance park& zoo is amazing for kids. Owen beach and point defiance marina is great for fishing. Lots of restaurant options and small local coffee huts everywhere. Would love to visit again!

We were in Tacoma for a family wedding. This location was close to the various venues. Also, there is a lovely park nearby.

Nice little cottage with an ample backyard for our fur baby. Comfortable interior and nicely decorated. There was even an espresso machine! Access by walking to the Ruston area and Pt. Defiance is a snap. Our host was readily available and super nice.

This was the second time we've stayed at this lovely cottage near the Point Defiance Park in Tacoma. It's located in a great area and is modern, super clean, well-appointed, cozy and has a terrific backyard. We love staying here and look forward to our next visit.

This is by far the best short term rental we’ve stayed in! The location is wonderful, it’s on a very quiet street ( we only saw a few people and a couple of cars on the street in 4 days ) . It’s also wonderful for dogs. the back yard is very large, fenced, and with virtually no distractions. The house looks newly remodeled inside, very clean, although I would not recommend more than two adults because of the size. We had a great time , thanks!

This place is amazing and super cute also pet friendly which allowed us to have our 2 dogs while we went to watch our son compete in the state wrestling tournament. We will be back here in the future for sure! Also had an amazing price!

Loved staying at Nora’s Tacoma cottage for the thanksgiving holiday! The fully fenced in yard and parking was super helpful when traveling with our dogs. The house was super comfy and clean with every amenity you could ask for! Great neighborhood, can’t wait to come back and explore again!

My husband, my mother-in-law and I were visiting family in Vancouver, Washington. We decided to stay a couple of days in Tacoma. The property was super cute and easy to find.

Nora the host was very helpful and had good communication! Its a really nice place for a dog with the big fenced in yard. Very comfortable house, well stocked kitchen, and nice surroundings to explore. We liked both restaurants within short walking distance - Antique Sandwich Co for lunch and Macaluso's Italian restaurant for dinner.

New and bright, very clean and spiffy. Backyard is very good for dogs. Only one concern: The front porch is concrete and very small with high steps. There is no handrail and I felt it would be a problem for people with walking difficulty or unsteady gait and the porch is not surrounded, a possibility of falling about 5 feet to the ground.

Nora has a great home for a stay with pets. Her house is well appointed, for adults, kids and pets. She had a dog bed, dog bowls, and also a fully fenced yard. The bed was comfy, and the kitchen had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this home for a great stay with pets!highlyeveryev

The property is exactly as described and very clean. It was nice to be able to walk around the area and enjoy the scenery. The host is very responsive and helpful. I would recommend it to anyone looking in the area. Hope to come back again.

This cozy little home felt Just that...home. As others have stated, clean, clean clean! Plus their were all the conveniences you would have at home. And, she left us coffee to try, teas, and snacks, plus a water filtered pitcher in the frig. A thoughtful experience. We appreciated that the property was so convenient to services, restaurants and shopping within walking distance, as well as a completely fenced yard for our dogs to be free to play (just like home!). We will definitely stay here again on our next visit, should it be available. Thank you Nora for a wonderful experience.

My husband and I stayed at this lovely home during a road trip. The house was very clean, the location was great (walking distance to shops, restaurants, walking path along the harbor), and the host (Nora) was so lovely! There were so many great touches that made the stay feel like a home away from home! 10/10 recommend

We were in town for a conference and some down time. This small house was well stocked with everything we needed and location was great for access to park, old town, ferry and Rustin Point. Neighborhood seemed safe. It was quite hot for a few days and the air conditioners though quite noisy were a great benefit!

So clean. One of the most comfortable beds I’ve experienced in a rental. Nice snack touches and filtered water in the fridge. And the A/C was a godsend on a hot, hot day.
