The host was good. The walls are thin, can easily hear noise from rooms above. Temperature control is a challenge when there’s cold weather.

We had a great stay. The house was much bigger than we were expecting and it felt very home-like.

Once inside it is a nice space with 2 comfortable bedrooms and another king bed within the family room area which was also comfortable. The kitchen was fine for what we needed during our stay. One of the problems we had at this home was the exterior and walkway. You have to walk alongside 2 RV’s and hoses to get to your entrance door in the backyard. The second issue we had was the thin floor above. We could hear every step anyone including the dog had taken. It’s not that the people were particularly loud it’s just that any movement by the people above came through loud down below. Their walking woke us up at midnight, 3am and 6am causing all of us in all the bedrooms a night of interrupted sleep. All around, not ideal but great price and adorable decor inside.

Well equipped “basement apartment” with good space and very close to downtown. Definitely would stay here again. The only, slight issue was some noise from the renters above us on our last night, but the host quickly responded and resolved the matter. She was terrific!

They told us after we booked the trip that we could not park in the driveway and we only had access to the basement. The upstairs was closed off and we had no clue about that. It was not stated in the description at all.

Very convenient to downtown Danville/Centre College. Every amenity you could want. Very clean, King bed was excellent comfort. Great communication with host. Only *slight concern was hearing owners walking overhead quite loudly early morning (after we admittedly stayed out too late! lol)

My Mom and I stayed here for 5 nights. The place is very clean. There are three beds. The two we tried were quite comfortable. There were a ton of TVs so if that's important to you, they are large screen TVs, in each bedroom, as well as the living room. Bathroom is very small with a tiny stall shower which I found very confining, especially since there's no window. We had some issues with the electricity. The fridge was not turned on when we arrived late at night but the host fixed the issue the next afternoon. The light in the kitchen stopped working at one point and we never were able to find the outlet to turn on the overhead light in the living room. We have family that live in town, so we spend most of our time at their house. I do think the host is very quick to reply so if we had needed those lights fixed, I would have messaged her, but it didn't seem necessary for our stay. The location is very convenient. It's around the corner from a CVS and I would say walking distance to the downtown with restaurants. We had to park on the street which is not ideal, since it was a high traffic street, so unloading in the dark late at night was a bit tough. It is a garden level/basement apartment so it was very dark but worked out well for our stay.
