Beautiful home

Good location, responsive host, clean home.

Hosts were very responsive and accommodating. We loved the home, from its historical details to the many well placed decorations in every space of the house. It felt very warm and welcoming, even though I was convinced it would be haunted, as much of Savannah is. House was not too far from attractions. We felt safe walking nearby during the day. River Street was walkable if you were up to it, but trolley and Uber were used often. Thanks for a great place to crash!

We had a wonderful stay at the Clara! The vintage furnishings were charming! The kitchen was well stocked and we were even greeted with fresh flowers, chocolate, and birthday wishes! Our host was very pleasant and responsive! The location was “walkable” to several historic spots and good coffee shops and restaurants!

My whole family loved this house. It was comfortable, welcoming, and perfect for our weekend together.The house was very clean and I loved the decor!

The home was conveniently located in the heart of Savanna. Beautiful inside. Spacious rooms and clean. We would stay here again.

We were so incredibly happy to stay in this charming historic home. It seems bigger and more stunning than the pictures. Has 3 separate outdoor sitting areas as well. Upstairs bedroom area was adorable and historic. Location was perfect and we either walked, road the DOT, or used uber. Parking and checking in was a breeze. Jon and Carmen could not have been more inviting and initiated contact all the way, making certain every need was met. Our only regret was we didn't plan to stay longer. HIGHLY recommend The Clara!

The house has charming decor and well laid out. The beds were comfortable with plenty of space for all. Well equipped kitchen. Nice place to chill while in Savannah.

This home was wonderful. Beautifully historic home with tons of charm. Easy location to the highway and downtown! The host was the best, very accommodating and made sure our stay was seamless.

Plenty of room for 6 of us girls. Inside was amazing. Host was very kind and very responsive. Nice little back outdoor area and parking for 2 cars off alley a definite plus. Walking distance to the parks. The only negative was the couches were very uncomfortable. They are pretty and fit the Era but not comfy at all.

The host was so kind in decorating the house and getting a treat for our daughter who turned 11 during our stay. Truly made us feel like family. Loved that the house was stocked with everything we needed. Definitely a unique stay in a vintage house - we absolutely loved it. Great location for us to explore Savannah. Beds were super comfy and our 3 daughters all had a place to have some time to themselves. Thanks again for such an amazing stay!!

The Clara was a wonderful place to stay. Check in was easy, it’s in a walkable neighborhood. The home was beautiful with so much space and everything you need. I hope to stay there again on my next Savannah visit.

“The Claira” is an exquisite example of the time period. Well kept, clean. Host went above and beyond. Attention to personal touches.

We loved how much it felt like Savannah in this one! We had so much room for everything and it was so close to all of our plans that we barely even had to use it except for sleep! The host was great at communication as well if we needed anything.
