Stay close to history in Fredericksburg, steps away from Main Street.

A lovely and clean place to make our stay relaxing. The back yard was nicely landscaped with a hot tub, fire pit, patio and corn hole. We enjoyed drinking coffee in the mornings on the front porch. One morning we had a deer walk down the street in front of us. Every detail was thought of at this home and we have added it to our favorites.

Our stay was fantastic! The location was great, the backyard with the hot tub was amazing. The property was clean and tidy. Would definitely book again.

Booked for a friend’s getaway trip and we absolutely loved our stay! The home was modern and we all loved the decor. An added bonus was the beautiful backyard. I would book again in a heartbeat!

Great place to stay! Close enough to walk to Main Street, but far enough away to have peace and quiet. The house is lovely - a lot of considerate thought has gone into making this a 5 star vacation rental. Super cute! The amenities are a bonus and everything was clean and in great condition. It's even nicer than the wonderful pictures! We hope to stay here again in the future.

We LOVED our stay - it was exactly what we needed for a girls weekend. The location was perfect, it had everything we could think of and we loved hanging out in the backyard by the fire pit. Hopefully we will be back!

House was very clean. We cooked breakfast one morning and dinner one night and the kitchen was well equipped. The king bed was comfortable. We used the hot tub one night and the fire pit one night. Very nice big backyard. Was within walking distance of town as well. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was perfect for a quick Fall Break getaway. We were close to all of the things that we wanted to do in town and it was a quick drive to the winerys. We did a different winery each day - as well as - Enchanted Rock, Pacific War museum, and lots of great food. The beds were very, very comfortable. The hosts were very responsive and helpful in accommodating our first winery visit.

So clean, perfect location, and would definitely stay here again!

Covered parking was a great bonus, and check-in/check-out couldn’t have been easier. Everything was just as described, and the home had everything we needed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a calm and cozy place to stay!

We so enjoyed our stay at the Love Shack. Everything was perfect - the place was spotless, well-stocked, and full of thoughtful touches. The towels and robes were especially nice, and we really appreciated the good coffee!We loved the charming decorations and how comfortable and inviting everything felt. The location was great, communication with the owner, and access to the house was excellent. We definitely will be back!

My best friend and I planned a long-awaited trip after being apart for six months. Despite injuring myself and almost canceling, the beautiful accommodations exceeded our expectations. We relaxed, enjoyed the amenities, and cherished our time together in a lovely setting. We felt grateful for the experience! We will be back!!

This house was exactly what our family needed! After the recent passing of our oldest son, we just needed a quick getaway somewhere and chose Fredricksburg and this home. Everything was perfect. The home is so warm and welcoming and the backyard is beautiful and peaceful. It's an excellent location to the main street, so we walked into town to the restaurants and little shops and all the people are so friendly. We will definitely be booking again on our next visit.

The house was perfect for a girls weekend getaway. Walkable to main street and very comfy. We used both the hot tub and fire pit! The robes were a nice touch for the hot tub. The space had everything you need!
