Stately Victorian with a Modern Flair

This was a wonderfully restored Victorian close to downtown. The neighborhood is in the process of getting revitalized. The house itself was beautiful and had all the comforts of home.

Home was very clean and very convenient to downtown Lynchburg. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful and comfortable home. Lots of room and well stocked and functional kitchen. Love the porch and easy walk to downtown.

This house is beautifully restored and the modern updated are done wonderfully. Location made it easy to get around where we needed.

The College Hill District of the city is historical & densely populated. There is only street-side parking and both sides of the street are used. A lg SUV can be tricky here. The street has many potholes and is in dire need of repaving. A low-lying vehicle might incur some undercarriage damage if not careful. We checked in with ease and found the property to be clean and welcoming. There was plenty of room in the refrigerator for our groceries while leaving the owner's items on the doors where we found them. Some recommendations for an improved guest experience: 1. Remove arbitrary addtl guest fee for confirmed 3 ppl in 3BR 2. Add hooks in bathroom doors. 3. 1st floor bathroom knob doesn't engage door frame (remains ajar in use) and no locking mechanism - Must Repair. 4. The hairdryer provided doesn't work - Replace. 5. Cookware items are haphazardly stored in cabinets - Org kitchen cabinets for ease of use & comfort to remove the feeling that guests are in an occupied home. 6. Wash all new towels before displaying for use (dyes ran when wet) and fold laundered ones. 7. No welcome/travel toiletries as listed - Add/Update listing. 8. Provisions of floor and handheld exercise on premises - Currently no gym on site - Update listing to reflect. 9. Bluetooth speaker was dead & wrong charger provided - Remove/Replace 10. No exit instructions exist - Provide clear exit instructions. Mike was available & responded to any questions in timely manner about his lovely property.

Really comfortable beds, nice central location to downtown restaurants, nicely equipped kitchen. Liked everything and will stay again when I come to Lynchburg.

The house was well-renovated, clean, and spacious for me and my son’s family to stay overnight. My daughter’s family visited during the day. Good family time.
