Stayed Jun 1, 2025This is a great place for any couple's retreat, a student trying to work with no distractions, or simply a place to get away from the city nosies, and light pollution that comes with it, drive carefully on the dirt road to leads up to the property itself, and youll be fine. We will DEFINITELY book again

Stayed Feb 2, 2026Very easy to communicate and set up this cute VRBO! If you are looking for the full desert experience while visiting Joshua Tree NP - this is the place for you! It is in the desert. It’s a sweet home with all of the needed accommodations, including amazing star gazing, night desert sounds and good memories. Thank you!

Stayed Jan 5, 2026Really great place.Very glad I booked it , my son and I stayed 3 night's. Property owner , very accommodating and probably has the quickest response time i've ever had with any questions. I would definitely come back here again. Very well maintained little place and very clean, also awesome place to bring your dog, just be weary of coyotes, we saw them in broad daylight right by house! It's worth the extra drive down the dirt road to be In such a beautiful quiet place. I am glad i borrowed my moms AWD Subaru. My honda accords lower profile would not of done well on the dirt road. There are lots of cool roads that we were able to explore right from the place. But definitely , you need all wheel drive at least.

Stayed Dec 15, 2025Absolutely amazing stay! We enjoyed every aspect of this place. The bed was super comfortable and we both were very well rested. The hot tub was a great addition along with the fire pit. It’s a great place for couples and we were even able to get a lot of school work done during finals week. Highly recommend we can’t wait to stay again!

Stayed Dec 12, 2025We stayed at this vrbo for my birthday weekend, and it was a great stay! Checking in was very easy. I loved the fire pit and hot tub, and it was even better stargazing than in Joshua Tree National Park! We highly recommend this place if you want some peace and quiet and STARS!The dirt road leading to the vrbo was relatively flat so we were able to make in a Honda Accord no problem, but driving it the first time was very stressful because we arrived at night. Overall, we don't recommend trying to drive it more than necessary, so plan accordingly. The hosts were very attentive (maybe a little bit too much, but better than not attentive enough). The only issues we had with the vrbo were 1) the toilet seemed to be leaking and refilling every 5 minutes so we had to shut the bathroom door to drown out the noise and 2) the remote for the tv didn't work unless you were sitting close to the end of the bed, which was a little annoying when trying to change the channel (but we loved that we could log in to our streaming accounts!)Overall, great stay! We would definitely stay again!

Stayed Dec 9, 2025Very fun stay! Even though there were no fences , it still had a lot of privacy, and there was a great view of the mountains and the stars from the backyard.

Stayed Sep 19, 2025This is a great house in Joshua Tree. My boyfriend and I stayed here to do some hiking and stargazing. It’s location is close enough to town to enjoy the town and the national park, but far enough away that you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere. The management communicated well. Definitely recommend.

Stayed Aug 29, 2025quiet, peaceful getaway. The hot tub was amazing for me, but my husband was put off by the bees and dirt from the nearby tree. there was a neighboring house visible from the backyard, but I didn't see any people over there; and the hot tub and back of the house were very private because of the tree. We had a wonderful time!

Stayed Jul 29, 2025We wanted a dark sky experience to see the stars and watch the meteor showers. This property was perfect. The photos are very accurate. What you see is what you get. The place is small, clean and relatively well stocked. Be sure to take supplies with you for food and drink. The bumpy, sandy, rocky road leading into the property is not something you want to do often and it is a fair distance from town. We cooked simple meals and enjoyed the marvelous outdoor space. We used the fire pit, the hot tub, the hammock swings, the horseshoe pit, and that glorious outdoor bathtub. We took a siesta inside and it was cool and delightful. We stayed two nights and spent both from sunset to well into the night outside watching that marvelous sky. If a place well off the beaten path in the middle of the desert is what you want this is the place. If we need another dark sky adventure we know where to go.

Stayed Mar 17, 2025As promised! Cute, clean, comfy bed and couch. Terrific hot tub. Lovely swings. Easy access and good communication. My only suggestion is to be sure you have a good offroad vehicle. My lil Prius was not it.

Stayed Feb 22, 2025I booked this home as a Birthday Trip for my husband who loves all things space. The stargazing is what drew me to this property and my goodness, IT DELIVERED! We have never seen the sky so full of stars until this spot. I love that it was on the edge of the community and there was only two houses in view when in the backyard. The kids had fun on the bunk beds. The jacuzzi was clean and comfortable. The fire pit with chairs and swings/chair hammocks were amazing. Very well decorated. Overall, amazing experience.
