Stayed Jun 27, 2026The house is absolutely gorgeous!! When you walk in, you have a spectacular view of the mountains. We had 15 people (adults and kids) and this home was perfect for us all. We loved the game room, movie room, sauna and hot tub. The house was stocked with tp, paper towels, trash bags, seasonings, soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. We will absolutely be back!!

Stayed Nov 16, 2025The Perfect Mountain GetawayOur stay at Star Mountain Lodge was nothing short of incredible. The cabin is the perfect blend of rustic mountain charm and modern comfort—cozy enough to feel like a true alpine retreat, yet beautifully updated with all the amenities you could want.The moment we walked in, we were greeted with huge windows showcasing the most breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. The cabin was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and fully stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing stay.The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, with plush beds that made it very hard to get up in the morning. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy for the recommended chef to cook meals, and the living area was perfect for evenings of board games, wine, and fireside lounging.Our favorite part? The outdoor space. The private deck and hot tub were absolutely unbeatable-soaking under the stars after a day of skiing felt magical. The location was also ideal, peaceful and tucked away, yet just a short drive to Keystone Resort, dining, and trails.The hosts were wonderful as well—friendly, responsive, and clearly dedicated to making sure my guests have a five-star experience.If you’re looking for a luxurious yet authentic mountain escape, Star Mountain Lodge is truly a dream. My guests and I stayed for 3 nights and I wish we booked for a week instead. We can’t wait to come back!

Stayed Aug 2, 2025The property is amazing. Very large, well-laid out space, with lots of special spaces, indoor and out. The indoor gym was incredibly well-outfitted, and even included a sauna and bathroom, as well as a private massage room. The indoor theater was a hit with the grandchildren, who used it to relax after all the outdoor activity. There is also a game room, which appealed to all ages. The kitchen facilities were good, although the kitchen was missing a few things that would have been useful--pot holders, storage containers for leftovers, and flexible spatulas. The major issue we had with the house was the plumbing. With the exception of the master suite, the showers all had very low water pressure and sometimes stopped all together mid-shower. Often, the hot water could not be maintained. To their credit, the property managers and owner were very responsive to our complaints and sent a maintenance crew out as soon as we informed them of the problems. Unfortunately, the issues could not be resolved without interrupting our experience, so not everything was fixed before we left. However, we saw the maintenance crew show up the moment we checked out, so they clearly took our complaints seriously.

Stayed May 21, 2025Our group of 20 loved our stay at Star Mountain Lodge. It was as advertised, offering a clean home with an ample kitchen that we used for cooking for our large group. There was plenty of dinnerware and seating for all to enjoy. The additional refrigerator in the garage was a plus. The scenery was breathtaking with beautiful views from inside and outside the home. There's a nice path along the river behind the home, too, for anyone that wants to enjoy the scenery. Everyone enjoyed the spa and fire pit. The grill worked very well for our 2 nights of cooking on it. Any questions/concerns we had were very promptly answered and resolved. We would stay there again and highly recommend this stunning home!

Stayed Jul 22, 2024We celebrated my parents 50th wedding anniversary! My parents had 7 children and now that we all have families, its difficult to come together because we need alot of space and we live in different locations. The Star Mountain Lodge gave us exactly what we needed with 8 master bedrooms and a large kids room with 8 beds. Everyone was comfortable. Also, the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to serve a large crowd. Traci was prompt in responding to any question about the house and the surrounding area. It was like talking to a friend. And.. The view, fire pit, and the hot tub were icing on the cake. We shared stories and laughs all day and night on the deck. We were all grateful for the expereince the lodge provided. Thank you soo much!!

This home has it all, a gym, steam room, multiple beautiful bedrooms for a large family or group of friends to have their own space while more than enough common spaces to enjoy company. Stayed May 31, 2024The house was spacious and cozy. The kitchen was fully equipped along with snacks and coffee. The beds were super comfortable, and the private balconies were a wonderful bonus. The location couldn't have been better. Everyone enjoyed the close golf courses and hiking trails. I would highly recommend this place.
