My husband and I along with our cousin and his wife stayed here for 3 nights. What a beautiful place. One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. So clean and welcoming. And, the wrap around back porch was the perfect place to have our morning coffee. The view was awe inspiring. This place is the perfect spot to visit not only Wimberly, but all the surrounding areas planned in our trip. We ate dinner at the Creekhouse in downtown Wimberly, drove to Gruene the next day and ate at the famous Gristmill. Yum! Rode the glass-bottom boats in San Marcus and ate barbeque at the Salt Lick in Driftwood. This house is centrally located for all and a warm and cozy place to come home to. The two of us enjoyed staying at Star House for our weekend in Wimberly. The host stayed in contact from the beginning of our reservation until checkout time. The house is clean, comfortable and well appointed with everything we needed. The outdoor decks are outstanding.

Star House is the star of our second stay there within a few years. It is everything we could ask for in a Wimberley rental. It's beautiful, easy to access from the street, very private, and a lot of space to enjoy the feeling of being in the country and out of the big city for several days. It was a wonderful recharge! Brian Jones was our host and he was very nice and easy to communicate with whenever we had a question.

Great views from the balcony. Bedrooms were awesome as well as the main living area. Kitchen was very well equipped.

We had a wonderfully relaxing time after the holidays at the Star House. Great space, fantastic views, and close to town!

Lovely home, beautiful views and very peaceful. We stayed over a weekend for a family bday party in the area. 2 adult couples, each had our own bedroom and bathrooms which was great, beautiful kitchen and living room. Really enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck outside. Check in was easy and the owner always checked to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Would definitely stay here again!

A group of friends and I stayed here for a weekend getaway for a 30th birthday. It's super close to town and to Blue Hole, but still secluded enough to where you're not surrounded by others. We enjoyed sitting on the deck at night, enjoying the breeze and looking at the sky. If you're looking for a quiet place still within proximity of things to do, this is a great option.

We have stayed at Star House in the hill country 3 times. Always a relaxing time with the beautiful cabin home and the wrap around porches with stunning hill country views. The owner provides all the needed amenities to make the stay perfect. We will be back.

Property was beautiful, everything we needed

Everything just made us totally chill from sunrise to sunset.View, proximity to town, friendliness of the locals,and the weather was perfect.

This house is beautiful, comfortable and super clean. The balconies offer retreats for everyone. Cozy blankets if it is chilly and comfortable seating everywhere. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking implements and there are puzzles and games to be found in the beautiful bench. Our bed felt like a hammock and I slept like a log which is rare for me. Can’t say enough good things. Close to activities and far enough away to just rest and break away from crazy.

Getaway with girlfriends, all of us over 65.We do this once a year and had a great time together.So happy with our choice of vacation rental!So much we spent most of our stay enjoying the homes views! We highly recommend it!

This is a beautiful property maintained well. It was a very relaxing environment for my husbands birthday get away.

Property is as seen in the property description. The location is not what we expected. It is remote but when outside there is traffic noise from the highway and the view includes a couple of mobile homes. But it worked well for us as we were really just there for the sleeping arrangements and were out of the house during the day.

The Star House was just as presented and we enjoyed our stay very much! Spent 5 nights and will plan to return for another stay.

The house was perfect for my parents and myself. The house was lovely and had everything we needed. I really appreciate the labels for all the switches. Beautiful views but only 10 minutes from town. Will definitely try to stay here again

We enjoyed the location and hilltop views. We came for the peace & quite and it was wonderful.

A great place to just get away. You might want to bring your own wash cloths as they only furnish one per guest and while the patio furniture is very comfortable, the indoor dining is only a bistro table and high bar, both which have bar stools designed for tall people. These two 5'4 ladies needed a stopl to get up on them. them.very comfortable

We had an absolute blast! Such a cute house...very Texas themed! We love Texas! We were four friends spending time together! It was the perfect place to do so! We lived our stay!

Mom and I had a wonderful stay at the Star House! It’s a beautiful, clean and private property - we didn’t want to leave! I loved the large wrap-around deck! Easy check-in and great hosts. We couldn’t have had a better stay anywhere else! We hope to return soon.
