Simply lake living at its best!

This is our first of three Lake Hamilton vacation properties. We additionally offer two three-bedroom lakefront homes (another main channel and one quiet cove) nearby. We have been hosting since 2006, during which time we have worked to make each year better than the last for not only our returning guests but our new guests as well.

This private home features 100 feet of main channel lake access with a separate boat and swim docks, with adjacent 780 square foot patio right on the lake make this your family's go-to spot for enjoying beautiful Lake Hamilton. Make sure you ask about our onsite pontoon. We also have two kayaks and a stand up paddle board for guests to enjoy on the beautiful Main Channel of Lake Hamilton!

Don't hesitate to ask for last minute or off-season discounts!

We want to make sure that our house is the perfect fit for you and your group.

Please contact Stan with any questions whatsoever, regarding minimum stays or rates.

Lake levels on Lake Hamilton are lower from November until March, but we are on the main channel and have year round deep water.

This Lakefront private single-family home can provide accommodation for up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms with 3 full bathrooms. It is a two-story home, and each floor has its own full kitchen and front loading washer and dryer set. There are separately controlled central air and heating systems for the upstairs and downstairs, and there are ceiling fans throughout. These features make it private even when your group might consist of two families traveling together or children with different sleep times and temperature settings!

There is a covered boat dock, separate large swimming dock, and lakeside patio with table and seating. Pets can roam outside freely in the large fenced yard. We recently added two kayaks and a stand up paddle board so that you can enjoy Lake Hamilton even more!

Downstairs there is one bedroom with a queen-sized bed and adjoining full bathroom with shower. There is a fully-equipped kitchen with refrigerator, gas stove (with convection cooking and a warming drawer), microwave and dishwasher. The kitchen opens onto a screened-in porch with seating. There is also an eating area with seating for six and a living room with two separate seating areas overlooking the lake, one with DISH TV/DVD. The living room opens onto a large deck (with seating) with superb views of the 100 feet of lakefront which the home offers. A second full bathroom with a shower/bath is downstairs. All rooms except the bedroom and bathrooms have lake views. The downstairs floor of the house sleeps two people.

The larger upstairs has two bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed. There is a full bathroom with shower/bath. Adjacent to the bathroom there is second washer and dryer set. The kitchen has a refrigerator, gas stove, oven, dishwasher and microwave. The kitchen opens onto the dining room which has a table with seating for six. In the living room there is a sofa and loveseat and Satellite TV/DVD. There is a sunny deck off the dining room/living room area. All rooms except one bedroom and the bathroom have lake views. The second floor of the home sleeps up to four people.

The house is located in Hot Springs, Arkansas, in the scenic Ouachita Mountains on the main channel of Lake Hamilton. Access is via the 270 West/Mount Ida exit from the new MLK Bypass. The bypass makes travel easy to and from Little Rock's National Airport and tourist destinations such as the new Clinton Presidential Library.

Even closer, within 15 minutes, you can reach Hot Springs National Park, Bathhouse Row, Oaklawn Park, Garvan Woodland Gardens and countless other attractions.

Hot Springs is a vibrant community of 35,000 inhabitants with all types of restaurants, shopping and entertainment.

Here are some of our favorite activities when visiting Hot Springs National Park:

• Since our home is lakefront, you can enjoy Lake Hamilton just steps from the back door!

• Use our boat dock or swimming or dock! We are on the main channel, so there is always plenty of action!

• You can enjoy water skiing, tubing, wake boarding and all the fun that time on the lake in a boat brings!

• Many of our guests love to fish right off the boat dock.

• Try out the Belle of Hot Springs River Boat. The Belle offers cruises for either lunch or dinner. Treat yourself to beautiful Lake Hamilton and let someone else steer you around the lake!

• National Park Duck tours are another option for getting out on the water and exploring Lake Hamilton if you don't have your own boat. It's an amphibious vehicle which will take you on a tour of town before splashing into the water and cruising around the lake.

Garvan Woodland Gardens

• Garvan Gardens is a year-round, all-season attraction.

• No matter what time of the year you visit, the gardeners have made sure that the flowers and landscaping make the most of that season's local shrubs, flowers and trees.

• Bring your family and bring the camera for some spectacular photography backdrops!

• At Christmastime, enjoy the extensive light display!

• Hidden Gem: The Anthony Chapel.

What do Eureka Springs, Hot Springs, and Bella Vista have in common Yes, two of them have “Springs” in their names, and they’re excellent towns to visit, of course, but there’s something else they have in common. All three are home to similar chapels. The facades of these chapels are all slightly different, and the interiors are not identical, but what they have in common is that they successfully unite the beauty of the outdoors with the details of man-made ingenuity and focus on giving visitors a peaceful nondenominational experience in a setting that exalts both the wider natural world and the inner spirituality of their visitors. Not to be missed!

Oaklawn Racing and Gaming

• Oaklawn Park is a world-class thoroughbred racing course which hosts live racing from January to May. Don't miss the Racing Festival of the South, with the Grade I Arkansas Derby (known for producing various Kentucky Derby winners). You can now also head to Oaklawn to watch and bet on the Kentucky Derby the first weekend in May!

• If you're not able to visit in the spring, don't fret as you can still wager in comfort and style at the Oaklawn Gaming Casino, which often features local live music.

Historic Downtown Hot Springs (P.S., take Blacksnake Road back into town from our home and you'll not only go through the National Park to get there, but you'll miss all the traffic!):

• By far the most popular attraction in Hot Springs is the National Park (which by the way was designated as a reserve by the federal government in 1832!! That's 40 years before Yellowstone!) Be sure to walk down world famous Bathhouse Row. The Fordyce bathhouse has been beautifully restored and serves as the Visitor Center for the National Park.

• Relax and take your mind off your worries with a bath from the natural hot mineral waters that seep to the ground and give the area its name. The Quapaw Baths as well as the Buckstaff Baths give you the opportunity to treat yourself and step back in time to a world of luxury and pampering.

• While downtown, you'll find a various shops, restaurants and art galleries when you want to take a break from all the sightseeing.

• When you're downtown you'll see the steam rising from the water as it bubbles up from the ground. Yes, it's really really hot!

Activities for the children:

• Just down from the National Park on Whittington Avenue you'll find the Arkansas Alligator Farm and Petting Zoo.

• Our lake home is only minutes away from Mid-America Science Museum. It's another hidden gem of Hot Springs and the kids will love it. There are lots of interactive displays which teach science at the same time!

• It wouldn't be a town for tourists with out some good old fashioned mini-golf!! Our home is minutes from Volcano Falls Mini Golf. Other themed options include Pirates Cove Adventure Golf and T-Rex Indoor Mini Golf (they've got you covered if you need to escape the hot summer weather).

• Magic Springs Theme and Water Park has been a mainstay in Hot Springs since 1977 (they did have a brief hiatus) but it's back and as popular as ever. Take the kids to all the amusement park rides, or enjoy the water park to beat the heat. Check the Magic Springs website to read about the summer concert series at the Timberwood Amphitheater throughout the summer. With genres ranging from classic rock, country, Christian to contemporary, park visitors are sure to find music to their liking at Magic Springs!

Nightlife:

• Hot Springs has no shortage of entertainment spots for the adults in your group.

• For those theater fans, Hot Springs also has you covered! Try Maxwell Blade's Theatre of Magic & Comedy, Hot Springs Bathhouse Dinner Theatre, Hot Springs Central Theater or the Pocket Theatre.

Annual Events:

• If you're visit coincides with March 17, check out the Worlds Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Head down to Bridge Street downtown and try to get a good viewing spot!
• The Hot Springs Motorcycle Rally roars into town in early September. Visitors from all over come for a parade and various concerts.

Even More Fun Things to Do:

• Various wineries operate downtown for all the wine lovers who visit. Check out the Winery of Hot Springs, Bath House Row Winery or Spa City Tropical Winery and Gifts

• Did you bring your jacked up Jeep Head straight to Superlift Off Road Vehicle Park and get muddy! (Send us pictures, please)

Communication with the host was excellent! I loved the house! Being able to sit and look out the windows at the water was so relaxing! The house is in such close proximity to anything and everything in Hot Springs! Loved having the 2 kitchens and 2 sets of washers/dryers! Will definitely stay here again when visiting Hot Springs!

This place was amazing to stay at. Had all that was needed to cook or grill. They are very pet friendly although the dog rate was a little high 100 per dog but, they were welcomed everywhere and not restricted (so that was a big plus). The wi-fi was spotty and sometimes didn’t work at all. We couldn’t get our IPads to work with the WiFi at all.

The property is in a wonderful location with all that you need for a great stay. Communication with the owner was fantastic. The only down side was the outdoor lake toys. They could use some attention and we didn't have everything available that was listed. However we would absolutely stay there again! Loved it!!

This was a great place to getaway for a week. It’s a short drive to bathhouse row, but the best part was being able to relax on the swim dock, jump in the water, and do some fishing. The property has everything we needed for our stay!

We had the most wonderful time staying at this beautiful lakefront property! It was the perfect place to celebrate my sister's 60th birthday. The house was stunning—spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with every detail thoughtfully considered. From 2 fully equipped kitchens to the cozy living spaces, we felt completely at home. The view of the lake was absolutely breathtaking, and we spent hours enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The location couldn’t have been more ideal—just minutes away from Oakland Park, so we had easy access to everything we needed while still enjoying the tranquility of the lake. The host truly left no stone unturned, ensuring that our stay was flawless from start to finish. Every comfort was provided, and we had everything we could possibly need.We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, beautiful, and well-appointed retreat. We’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful place even in the winter! Loved the fire pit, everyone’s Christmas lights and it’s closeness to McDonalds for breakfast. Yes we did the Pancake house one morning. Hot Springs was perfectly lovely as were the Christmas lights at the gardens. Great getaway for just the adults.

Stan was the epitome of a great host. Answered questions quickly and quickly as very attentive. The place was the perfect location on the water. We rented the pontoon for the entire week and it was worth every penny! Kids paddle boarded and kayaked. At night we had s’mores on the lakeside fire pit . Perfection! We will definitely be back!!

This truly was the perfect lake vacation for us! The house was lovely with so many rooms having gorgeous views of the lake. The two floors with separate kitchens worked out well, particularly for the early risers who made coffee to watch the sun rise. The lakefront access for swimming, kayaking, and use of the pontoon boat was the best. We had quiet mornings during the week, perfect for coffee and breakfast on the porch. The backyard is fully fenced in, and our dogs lived their best lakeside life for sure. Stan is a great host, we will most definitely be back again in the future!

I can't say enough great things about this property and host, as this vrbo rental was our favorite ever. Our family was looking for a relaxing stay, and the host went over and above to make it perfect for us. The house was clean and well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed being right on the lake and use of kayaks and all the wonderful sitting areas. And our adult children loved having the top level for themselves. The host was always quick to respond to make sure we had what we needed which made our stay even more memorable. Thank you again for absolutely everything, and we will most definitely be back!
