Stayed Aug 29, 2025Beautiful sunsets and very quiet, we saw 2 bald eagles no other wildlife was seen during our stay, but the view and quiet was priceless. The beach front behind the house was covered with claim airholes constantly, it was amazing to see the tides change. It is not far from downtime seaside. For all those GLUTEN free people out there - CHECK out Seaside Brewery, the GF beer and clam chowder and fish/n chips is the BEST!!!! Non gluten spouse could not tell the difference. Candace is an awesome host and thank you for providing us your home to stay on VRBO. We will be back with the grandkids and kids to stay in a few years. !!!! A MUST STAY PLACE FOR SURE.

Stayed Mar 28, 2025I loved this little home, it was great for my kids and our vacation. There is no Wifi and no way to stream to the TV. So bring your own VHS's or DVD's. The beach out back was our favorite part, the children spent hours out there! Will stay there when we visit again!

Stayed Jul 22, 2024The home was very cozy a little dated but overall happy with our stay the views from the backyard were amazing kitchen fully stocked with everything you would need to cook having two bathrooms a big plus only complaint would be lock box needs to be updated difficult to open and close other then that would definitely be back .

Stayed Jul 13, 2024Photos and details are mostly as described. My 4 star review is to point out some places you feel the age of this house unnecessarily. Areas that are an easy and low cost investment that would make the guest experience feel a bit elevated: - Towels and bed linens. These may all be from the time grandma still lived there. All should be replaced in a crisp white - Outdoor seating. We’d have loved to sit out in the backyard after the kids were asleep, or even with them in the day, or even eat out there for a meal but there are not comfortable chairs or a table to do so. 4 hard plastic chair ($10 model from Home Depot) are all that was provided. A full patio set would be more welcoming - The dishwasher situation was tough for us, honestly. I understand it’s not built in but this is just so uncommon it needs further instruction or a manual. We guessed and felt we were going to flood the place (didn’t; whew). - The covered parking has a bird nest directly over the entrance door. Perhaps a company could come and ethically relocate it? The feathers and poop right where people need to walk was an unnecessary irritant and the dive bombs happening by mama bird were stressful on humans and birds. - The walkway down to the water must be improved. There basically is none, leading guests to traverse sharp rocks. The water front is begging for improvement (again, like the back porch) to make this more of an oasis. - Great location for kids who like to play and dig in the sand!
