First of all, this was probably the cleanest VRBO I’ve ever stayed at - it was spotless! Nice decor and touches throughout; amenities were on point too (games, bar area, fire pit, poker table, hot tub, and more). We were also within 10-20 minutes of all kinds of activities, like Front Royal dining/shopping, Skyline Drive hiking/scenic views, and wineries. Additionally, the beds/linens were very comfortable and the kitchen was easy to cook in since it had everything we needed and more. Loved the Ridgeline Retreat!
My group (4 adults, 3 children- aged 7 & 3, and 2 dogs) stayed here for a long weekend mountain getaway and it was exactly what we hoped for. We were close to Shenandoah NP to do some hiking and wineries/breweries (including kid/pet friendly ones!) for lunch afterwards. The house itself was as advertised-- super spacious for our needs, the kiddos made especially good use of the furnished basement. The host was responsive, including keeping us in the loop with updates from the power company when the power went out for an hour or so our first morning there! We 100% would stay here again!
The home was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was awesome and also very clean. I would suggest to bring bottled water. We enjoyed our stay!
We love the property. The home was as advertised. The property was clean and nicely appointed. The area was quite and off the beaten path (as we wanted it to be). The kids in particular love the hot tub which was what the doctor ordered after a hard day of hiking. Overall l a great property
Host was terrific. House, very clean and well equipped. We enjoyed foosball, hot tub and Milky Way. Very convenient to Skyline Drive.
The house was immaculate and as pictured. Hot tub was amazing and fire pit/grill worked well. Snacks and toiletries were a wonderful unexpected touch! TJ responded to messages in a timely manner and offered great suggestions for food/activities. Would definitely stay there again.
Great weekend getaway. The house was super clean and well taken care of. The deck was gorgeous! Loved the outside lights! TJ the host was awesome to work with. He sent travel tips and recommend a cute custard place. .
This house was SO clean, quiet and perfectly outfitted. Linens were great. Lots of fun games. Hot tub is regularly and professionally serviced. Communication with host was perfect. I could not be happier with my experience:)
This beautiful rancher is tucked away in a quiet, wooded neighborhood about 15 minutes from the northern entrance to the Shenandoah National Park. With a modern/cabin pastiche, it’s cozy and welcoming immediately. The bedrooms are spacious and well-light. Everything was clean. The recreation area in the basement was incredible, with a restaurant-sized bar that has beautifully varnished wood, a great board-game table (it’s a poker table but my friends and I played board games on it), and lots of charm and comfort. We went canoeing and hiking, and you’re right near plenty of good spots to do those things!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We only wished we could have spent more time at the house. We enjoyed the hot tub, played foosball, watched a little tv. The upper deck was beautiful. The house was nicely appointed, tastefully decorated, spacious, comfortable beds, and plenty of bathrooms. Highly recommend!
Great location for a long weekend adventure with friends. The house was everything we needed and plenty of space for our group. Enjoyed the games in the basement and all slept comfortably.
The property was great, with excellent furnishings, amenities and overall comfortable. TJ and Michelle were great hosts. Our entire family enjoyed every bit of this property. If we are in the area again, we will definitely return.
This property exceeded our expectations in cleanliness, location and overall value. The views off the back deck are spectacular and the accommodations were much larger than anticipated.
The Host TJ was amazing he contacted me right after booking until I left the property. He also answered my questions on demand which I appreciated. The home was overall clean and lots of games for families.
Great home outfitted with everything you need. Very responsive host. Would definitely stay at this home again!
