Sprawling Lake Retreat on White Lake! Private Setting Loaded w/ extra amenities

In 7 years of family getaways, my adult daughters agreed that this was the cleanest home yet. Good spaces, amenities, linens, and more made the move into it easy. We loved the inland lake and opportunities for fishing and tubing it afforded us. Careful attention to details and GREAT communication made our 20 persons visit a 10!

We had an amazing stay. House was beautiful and spacious. We had 9 adults and 5 kids ranging from 16 to 3 years old and there was plenty of room for all. Lots of things to do. Would definately stay again.

Our stay was a wonderful week filled with memories that will last a lifetime. So much to do for all ages. The house is very well maintained with a lot of attention to detail. Many little extras included. From check in to check out, LuAnn was very helpful. Will come again!

They have everything you could need! Plenty of room for everyone-relaxing getaway location-30 min from dune rides and only 5 min from ice cream!! Big hit with the whole family-

This property was perfect for my large family. There were several places for us to hang out in small groups. It was very clean. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. There was an abundance of amenities and we never ran out of things to do. The owner was very pleasant and quite responsive. I definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting this beautiful area of Michigan.

The perfect place for young cousins to meet and play for the first time. Very nearby to a cute town and the park at the end of the drive was perfect! We were very comfortable with 8 kids and 8 adults. The property is not lacking in any basic necessities and the quality was consistently high. Thank you!!

We live locally. Our son and his wife live overseas. They wanted a US wedding We had a large number of European guest and two children under a year old we needed to find accommodations for. This House exceeded everybody’s expectations.. They rented pontoon boat & having the dock was perfect. They used the beach area the pool, as well as water “ toy” it was September so were weeds around the end of the dock area, not that anyone had issue but worth a mention. Mother Nature has more control over this than the owner so not a game changer for our group. The Group enjoyed hours gathering on the deck and playing yard games. The house was as pictured and CLEAN. Owner communicate rapidly to emails All information was easily accessible. The attention to details was well thought out to make a vacation comfortable ! Several separate gathering areas inside and out. Even a diaper Genie! And two types of baby beds! We could have found a more perfect place for our guest. They all enjoyed there stay at the Maple Beach House & talk of returning. Thanks LuAnn for your hospitality!

If your looking for a place that will entertain children this is a great place! Swingset, tree swing, kayaks, fishing, large beach front sandbox includes toys and small pool. Firewood was included! Boat rental was close by! Wonderful place to stay. Only suggestion would be a couple more frying pans for breakfast ?

While the lake and home were not perfect; we had a great time. The reality was for the price we would have liked better conditions. The lake has grass growing and this year algae bloom so we could not use the dock area for children or adults. We did not like the feel of the seaweed like grass on our legs while swimming. The deck was our favorite place to hang out and multiple people received bug bites … not mosquitoes… tho use needs to be addressed as everyone was using Benadryl cream and hydrocortisone cream all week along with large amounts of OFF. As for the home the place is clean but we really wish some of the bedrooms had more room. In order to accommodate the full sized bed… it took up 90%of the floor space so there is no room for getting around the room… this also innthe king sized bedroom. The kitchen was small as well for 18 guests to cook for… luckily we were prepared to grill most meals and it only rained once while there

Let me just start by saying that our host Luann was amazing! She went over and beyond to make us feel welcome. The house was equipped with everything a large family stay would require. The lakeview was breathtaking and they have a dock. We rented a pontoon boat for the week and had a blast. This home brought us laughter, some friendly competition, healing of relationships and memories that we will forever hold in our hearts. There were tears when we had to say goodbye. Thank you Maple Beach House!

Family voted unanimously to book here next year--that's how much we loved the house/property. The division of the homes' family areas & bedrooms worked so well for our group. Son/DIL, their 3 children (ages 5,2,4mo), & dog slept in one wing of the house which could be cordoned off--advantageous for little ones who go to bed early/rise early. This space also had secondary refrigerator which we used for beverages/freezer overflow. The other 6 family members (adults ages 23 thru 60) were in bedrooms in a different wing. Beds were very comfortable. This wing also had separate living area with large TV. We cooked almost every night in the well stocked kitchen. Property has large gas grill & fire pit. The outdoor area is very private, a huge plus! Property is close to Michigan Adventure & Lewis Farms, two places everyone enjoyed--young & old. But so much to do on the property itself--fishing off the dock, floating in inner tubes & kayaking on beautiful White Lake. The 2 & 5 yo spent HOURS in the sand & blow-up pool LuAnn had set up for them. Everyone loved the swing too. Sand hill cranes, herons, ducks, deer, & bald eagles were seen during our stay, too. Can't say enough positive comments about LuAnn. She was born to be the perfect VRBO host--communicative & thoughtful of our every need. Clearly invests in the property as many rooms had been updated/renovated during off season. These are all the main reasons why we're excited to come back next year!

I don’t know how, but this property continues to get better year after year. The improvements to the interior, the added equipment, and the amazing host make this location an ideal place to take your family. Lots of space to spread out and things to do allow a large family to enjoy each other without getting on each others nerves. Book it while you can (but not when we want to go). lol. You will not regret it.

We stayed here with 5 adults, 2 children under 5 and our dog. Great house for us, tons of amenities, including a closet for dog supplies. LuAnn was very easy to communicate with and this was by far the beat VRBO experience weve had. 10/10 woukd recommend!
