Stayed Jun 25, 2025Excellent location that held all of our 14 family members comfortably. Kids loved the pool and being close to La Jolla beach. Was a central location for all parks, activities, and grocery stores.There were some minor issues in the house throughout the weekend, but the property manager was very responsive and helpful. My only issue was the tenants beneath the house were pretty disruptive on the weekend evenings, even hosting a DJ till 2am on Friday night. Assuming the owner takes care of his permanent tenants, this property is a slam-dunk choice for all San Diego trips.

Stayed Oct 11, 2024The house is very spacious and the outdoor areas in the front and back are perfect. There is easy street parking as well if there are several cars in your group. A few things that we didn't love were the beds, none of them were very comfortable and a few of them were very creaky/loud. There were 14 of us and we needed an extra bed, they did have two blow up mattresses but no air pump. They also only left 3 dishwasher pods and 3 laundry detergent pods. That is usually enough for one family, but for a house this large that hosts that many people we ran through those in 2 days and had to go purchase more. Also, there was a very loud dog that would bark downstairs often and sometimes in the middle of the night. Overall our stay in this gorgeous home was nice and was the great space for three families to vacation at once.

Stayed Jul 20, 2024We loved getting together for a reunion with a few friends. The house has plenty of room and the back yard, pool and spa are the best part. We couldn’t have been happier to be together here and enjoy the proximity to beaches, hiking and San Diego. Parking was also easy.

Stayed Jul 2, 2024The property is in a great location. Easy access to the beach in La Jolla. The pool and outside area are even better than the pictures. The inside of the house is spacious. The open kitchen was great for family gatherings. The outside grill does not match the home and could use an update. Overall the house is great. Would highly recommend for a large group.

Stayed Dec 27, 2023We very much enjoyed our stay here. There were ample bedrooms to accommodate our family of 14! We could not understand, however, why the master suite bed was raised almost five feet off the floor!! We, the parents (grandparents in our 70's) were assigned to the master suite. I am quite tall but had to do a lot of maneuvering to get on the bed!! If you're going to have a bed like this you need to have sturdy steps to get on the bed! We needed an extra pack and play but borrowed that from friends in the area. The description of the home said there was a gas grill. We hired a chef for an evening and when he was going out to grill, there was no propane tank!! So our son quickly went to a store and bought a filled tank. ($67) The host did bring one later but we had already attached the new one so couldn't return it. Still waiting for a refund. The showers were fine with good hot water but the kitchen sink had very lukewarm water. We could not get it hot. Also, the wifi in the house was mediocre at best so most of us resorted to cell service. Most of the house was well-cleaned when we arrived although one DIL said her bathroom was not cleaned thoroughly.(toilet was grimy with hair!) We still really enjoyed our stay here. The location is super convenient to all the SD attractions.

Stayed Dec 6, 2023Our family visited San Diego for a family wedding and the house was perfect. All the bedrooms were comfortable. Loved all the bathrooms. Had plenty of amenities and toiletries to get through the visit. The property is beautiful. Pool and hot tub were a hit and nice areas outside to relax and enjoy the wonderful weather. Communication was great. Had a couple minor issues and both were addressed in a timely manner.
