The property manager and owner reply in a day. The house itself is lovely with a loft style upstairs with 2 beds and a half bath, a basement with 4 small beds, sitting area, bed and full bath and a main floor with 2 bedrooms, a full bath, high ceiling den and full kitchen and washer dryer. The low rating is partially due to the approach to the house and the parking which are very steep and feel unsafe except during the day and in dry conditions. Also the house is advertised as pet friendly but when you get the lease agreement a few days before the trip, it says it isn’t.

Our stay at Splendor Mountain Sapphire Cabin was absolutely wonderful. The property was spotlessly clean, which for our family is by far the most important aspect of any stay. Bathrooms, kitchen, linens — everything was impeccably maintained and clearly well cared for.The cabin is extremely cozy and welcoming, with a charming mountain-style décor that fits perfectly with the setting. The furniture is not luxurious, but it is exactly what you would expect from a traditional mountain cabin: comfortable, functional, and full of character. We loved the warm atmosphere — lighting the fireplace and enjoying family game nights made the experience truly special. All appliances worked perfectly, hot water was reliable, and we had no issues at all during our stay. The outdoor area was also a great plus, especially the barbecue space, which we used and enjoyed a lot. There is convenient parking for up to three vehicles, which made everything easier for our family. It’s important to note that this is not a luxury property with amenities like a jacuzzi, but the price is very fair and fully aligned with what the cabin offers: comfort, cleanliness, charm, and functionality. For us, the excellent level of cleanliness and the cozy mountain feel more than made up for the absence of luxury extras. Finally, the location is excellent, making it a great base for enjoying the region while still feeling peaceful and private. Our daughters absolutely loved the experience, and we would happily s
