Splendid Location, Single Level, Pet Friendly, Huge Fenced Yard, BBQ, Games, Next to School Fields

Not a holiday, but it suited our purpose admirably.

The property was well maintained and had plenty of space for our family. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

Our daughter accepted a job at PSU We were apartment shopping! This location had everything that we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the kitchen items we needed. It was even better in person! The beds were super comfy! We loved it!!

Nice spacious property, with good size backyard and conveniently located. TV is app based only and is extremely poor connection. We couldn’t watch a show for more than a few minutes before it would lose connection. Internet connection was poor. Supplies aren’t checked properly. We were missing rubbish bags (which they did drop off quickly) and dishwasher pods (which I bought myself). No extra bath and hand towels since they restrict it to one per person staying there. A few areas of the house could use some caring to. Beds need toppers. One of the dining chair’s back is lose. The ant traps and dead ants from floors and kitchen counter should be removed since it could be a safety issue for small children or pets.

Such a lovely and comfortable stay!! We stayed here for a week waiting to move in to our new place. I found myself wishing that THIS PLACE was our new place!! Clean and comfortable. We did have a small problem with ants which the hosts took care of right away. They were responsive, friendly and helpful. Very quick to respond. I highly recommend a stay here if you get a chance. It’s in a lovely neighborhood as well.

We stayed at the Arrington Retreat for a week. Our check-in went smoothly. I was surprised by all of the extra touches that were provided. There was a functional coffee pot with coffee, filters and mugs. There were also wine glasses and pint cups. The separate coffee/wine bar was nice to have while making dinners in the kitchen. All appliances were fairly new and functioned well including the outside BBQ. There were enough pots, pans, bowls, plates for the 4 of us and there were even plastic container for left overs. The house was very clean including the floors, bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen with extra towels and blankets that we didn't even need because everything was already provided. Both showers had shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hair dryers. The couch was comfortable for 3 - 4 but there were also 2 chairs that I didn't think looked comfortable in the pictures but turned out great for the kids, very comfortable. Because the entire floor was wood we brought a couple moving blankets that we threw on the floor for the dogs. The yard was huge and fully fenced. Since it's Oregon and it rains a lot we didn't get to utilize the yard as much as I would have liked but it was very well maintained. The school behind the house is close but I didn't heard any noise from the kids or traffic. We felt right at home there and enjoyed thumbing through the cookbook and the odyssey of whiskies book on the coffee bar, and were grateful for the list of local attractions provided. I would highly recommend!

Nicely redone older home, great for pets and good location since our son is in Forest Grove. Cleanliness issue was that the garbage cans were stuffed full by previous renter and likely would not be picked up by garbage service in Hilsboro until the following week after we stayed.

Had a great time Thanksgiving in Hillsboro, OR. The house was just as stated in description. Very clean and comfortable beds. Would rent again. Cindy

Everything about the Arrington Retreat was delightful!! I grew up in Hillsboro and was home visiting family. This was a perfect place for our base camp. I will definitely stay here again the next time we are in town

Close to town, the (Hillsboro) airport, and other amenities. Clean. Friendly neighbors. Road wasn't too busy. We didn't hear the elementary school drop off in the morning until we went outside. Delighted to report that the primary room bed was comfortable. Worked for us! Absolutely would stay again.

The house had absolutely everything we could possibly need. Since we were staying for a longer period, we requested a vacuum from the agency, and they provided it within an hour. Great service!

My family and I were able to stay near relatives in a great location. The house was wonderful, would highly recommend, especially if traveling with kids!
