Spirit House in the Terlingua Ghost Town

Spirit House is an awesome place, great location, appointed with all you need to have a great and relaxing stay. Star gazing fantastic on the porch as well!

The property was a perfect location in Terlingua. There were 2 great restaurants within walking distance from the house. It had a coffee maker with ground coffee provided, and creamer and sweeteners. Only a short drive to Big Bend. I would stay here again any time.

The property was perfect for our getaway! It was quiet and we enjoyed sitting on the porch after a day of hiking and site seeing and watching the sunrise the next day. Thank you for safe, comfortable place to stay.

Everything needed was in our house and good condition. Enjoyed it.

Clean, comfortable and convenient. Loved that the house was straw bale and loved the use of available materials and reused building materials.Kitchen had everything needed for cooking meals. Great porch with views.

This property has a wonderful porch to enjoy coffee in the morning, and wine, etc in the evening. The shower is large and plenty of towels. The bed was comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Explicit instructions provided for checkout. Plus sent us instructions how to get to the place, gps will not work. We hiked in Big Bend while staying at this home.

We loved this place! It was comfortable and peaceful, and cuter than you can tell by the pictures. The light from the high windows is lovely. The location is terrific. We saw the Milky Way from the front yard every morning when we got up early to hit the trails in Big Bend before it got hot.

Super comfortable with all the amenities located walking distance to Starlight Theatre and High Sierra restaurant. I'll be back.

Great location, very quite, walking distance to restaurants/bar. TV wasn’t used, but not sure if possible? needed instruction on use? The light over dining room table has broken chain, overall I would return/ recommend to friends

the House is beautiful, super clean, owners super responsive . Can't say enough about how cool Spirit House stay was. Walking distant to food and shops.Once again really clean inside, everything a person might need for a overnight or extended stay. We really enjoyed it !

This was our first time visiting a desert area. We loved being able to walk to the old cemetary, ghost town and restaurants. Close to Big Bend Nat. Park where we did a lot of exploring

Comfortable, very clean 1 BR house in Terlingua. Kitchen well-stocked for cooking at home. Very good grocery store in Study Butte. Suggest improved kitchen lighting. Pots and pans, knives, and dishes all good quality. Interesting community with a history of recreating itself as the mines closed and population dispersed. Great location for a week of hiking at Big Bend Natl Park.

Great place in a great walkable location. It was exactly as advertised. The hosts were quick to respond to our questions. I will look for this place for my next stay.
