Great place all around!!!!!!

A great place to stay for a family. Very quiet street and the games room had lots of fun especially the table tennis. Highly recommend for groups with kids.

The house was clean and tidy with nice indoor and outdoor spaces. The host had not given us the lock box code, I had seen an email from bookabatch headed “Here are the keys to your stay” so I had assumed the code was on this email somewhere. We rang Norman to get the code, he was quite short on the phone but gave us the code. When we made it in the HRV was turned up as high as it could go, the house was 29degrees inside, couldn’t keep the doors and windows open due to mosquitoes, sleeping on the first night was not the best due to the heat. We had to move one of single beds in the front room into the garage as the street light was shining in and the timber blinds were letting the light in, block out curtains would be better in there. Norman the host was difficult to deal with throughout the booking process - he doesn't like changes to bookings and was one up from passive aggressive in some of his responses. Yes our numbers dropped from 6 to 5 as one of the guys had to pull out (no refund has come through) and yes we asked about possibly postponing due the weather forecast looking like we weren’t going to be able to mountain bike which was our reason for coming. I wouldn’t book through Norman again if I could help it. Could do with upgrading the darts for the dart board and the table tennis bats - both in such bad shape not worth using. We did have great weekend otherwise, usually come up twice a year for the mountain biking but will likely avoid this house due to the host.

Great gaming area. Good kitchen facilities. Would be great to have extra bathroom and heat pump in the gaming area :) got a bit hot in the afternoon in summer.

Great stay, ideal property for a group. Large rooms and facilities. Good shower and comfy beds.

We enjoyed our time here. The house is large enough for the whole family to spread out in. It is in a lovely neighbourhood. Happily would go back.

Norman's place is well recommended for a mountain bike holiday. Pedal distance to the redwoods, secure bike storage, lots of space to rest and relax.

Thank you very much for opening your home to us. Takes a while for my kids to settle in a new place but they loved every bit of it. We replaced the table tennis net because who wants to play with a broken 1. Overall we loved it. Thank you again

Amazing place and location. Great for our race at Blue lake but. Wonderful holiday home for 9 people and kids to have space.
