Spectacular Sea Views, Sunsets And Cooling Trade Winds.

So there were pros and cons to staying here. Pros - spectacular views, clean, property management response to issues was great, pool was beautiful, convenient location, Elvis who stays on property was very nice and kept the outside looking beautiful, and layout was very nice. The property had majority of the items needed to live here like utensils and pans and etc. Cons - property has aged significantly and needs some repair and updating, no AC in main living room and kitchen, only bedrooms had AC, so it was quite hot in main area even with the fans. Had to get into the pool just to cool off or go to bedrooms. Water pressure was terrible and drain in Master bedroom clogged quickly with leaves and stuff. Upstairs bedroom had some bugs and spiders. For people who like to cook, the stove really needs a hood as it gets extra hot and smoky. Although it sounds like there were many negative issues, the positives really outweighed the negatives and we would stay here again if the AC/cooling of the main living area could be fixed. The remaining issues were fairly minor inconveniences.

This residence is very comfortable and conveniently located just 10 minutes from town. The main living area is very hot and does not have A/C. I would recommend opening all the doors, windows, and turn the fans on.

This property, Purple Palace, was just amazing! The house itself was large, well equipped, clean, and the views and pool were unapparelled. Stella and her team, Elvis and of course Princess were so helpful, nice, polite and respectful. We can't recommend this house enough!!!

Loved this spot. The pool and view were unbelievable. The property managers were very responsive and accommodating.

We had an amazing trip. The house is close enough for a quick drive to West End but far enough to be away from the hustle and bustle. The views from the pictures do not do it justice. Absolutely incredible. Communication with property manager was good, check in was easy, and the caretaker was readily available for any issues (although we had none!) We would definitely stay here again.

We were extremely happy with the house, it was the perfect spot for our yearly dive trip. Stella was a pleasure to work with.

Beautiful view, house was on the warm side except for bedrooms. Santos (caretaker)was very nice as well as the girl who checked us in (sorry can't remember your name). Close access to beautiful beaches and great food. Golfed/day pass at Pristine Bay which was nice but spent 10 minutes at beach in water and all 4 of us had at least 30 bites on us. We left right after. Didn't have that problem at any other beach (except in evenings). House has anything you need,we loved all her colorful dishes. If you decide to stay in a night though and relax, furniture in front of TV area is not real comfortable and pretty hot inside. Spent most evenings in the pool instead.

We just got back from a week in paradise staying in the Purple Palace house. Everything about this house was great. Privacy, the Views, the pool, the decor, even the little geckos running around. It was incredible. There were some little bugs, which are literally everywhere on the island, so expect that and don't fuss over it. Buy and liberally use a product called Cactus Juice. It works well at keeping bugs at bay, and smells good too. A lot better than deet or Off. Find it on Amazon prior to your trip. Definitely rent a car, either from the owners, or at the airport. Roatan has a lot to see, and the ability to just up and go is a bonus. The Sandy Bay area has a lot of nice restaurants and bars that take some looking to find.
