Stayed Dec 29, 2024This is a great house. Kitchen has the basics to cook a meal (we cooked 5 nights there). The beds are comfortable. The screened in porch is great to use in the morning (hotter in the afternoon). It has a tv that has netflix etc on it. Or you can bring a firestick with express vpn on it (so it looks like you are in the US) and watch your own streaming services. Internet was plenty fast for that and my teenager watching his own stuff. The beach is a 3 min walk away. The house is basically the 3rd house from the beach. The beach is small, but there is a great dock that you can go sit on and has benches where you can watch the sunset. You can also snorkel from the end of the dock. Its a few hundred yard swim to the fish, but its not bad. I would suggest bringing something that floats to drag behind you because you do have to swim through a narrow boating lane (not very busy). We always bring something so we can be seen (and to hang onto if needed). There is even a place where other boats take people to snorkel if you swim out and to the right. Its about an 8-10 min drive to west bay. We had a car (I'd suggest getting one, at least an suv, if not a truck. some of the roads are really rough). When you get to the end of the road coming into west bay, go all the way around the traffic circle and park on the side of the road you drove in on. The road through west bay is a nightmare, you don't want to drive down it ;-). Its also close 2 the aiport -15 min. Stay here!
