Enjoy the absolutely perfect water that you walk into without a flinch and once in never want to leave. From here guests can access other activities offered by the spa, snorkel amongst the rocks or just relax on the beach.

Just a short five minute drive away is the village of Gigante. Here guests can choose from five beachside restaurants, watch the fishermen bring in their daily catch, pick up supplies at the pulperia (mini-grocery), buy fresh fish and local lobster, rent a surf board or body board and hang out with the locals, intrepid neighbors and ex-pat local residents. You will fall right in and find that your vacation dollars go a long way here.
Area activities include surfing, body boarding, horseback riding, hiking, sailing, small boat (panga) fishing, off-shore fishing, sea kayaking, snorkeling, wildlife viewing, zip-line canopy tours, volcano viewing, markets and visiting the nearby Spanish Colonial town of Granada ( the oldest city in North and South America.

Daily pool cleaning and exterior maintenance is included in the rental.

The house itself is constructed of beautiful Brazilian hardwood and locally sourced tile. All of the furniture is brand new, top quality and handmade in Nicaragua. The main floor features a great room with an open kitchen, a dining table that seats eight and a living space perfect for conversation and games. The main floor veranda features an additional dining table with a view of the bay that is ideal for coffee, breakfast, lunch or an evening drink as the sun sets. The veranda also has rocking chairs and lounge chairs for whatever matches your mood. The kitchen features brand new appliances and is made for entertaining. The bunk room is a great place for kids with beds for 6 (3 twins and 3 trundles), a full bathroom, double doors to the veranda and plenty of room to lounge, hang out and watch movies on the large flatscreen TV equipped with satellite, DVD and video streaming.

The lower level features an infinity pool with a terrific view of the water, hammocks, chaise lounges, a hardwood picnic style table for dining/games that seats eight, a half bath and even an outdoor poolside shower. It’s the perfect place for the kids to hang out and call their own or for the entire family to relax. Adjacent to the pool is a palapa (thatch roofed shelter) and just above is the casita with a private bedroom (full size bed), full bathroom and laundry room.

The upper level features a gallery, three bedrooms, three full bathrooms and a wraparound sun deck. Consider picking up the three essential Nicaraguan items/gifts right at baggage claim (Flor de Cana rum, Tona lager and cigars from Esteli) for the full Nica experience. Golfers can rent clubs at nearby Iguana Golf Course and Mukul Resort. Guest should pack a good book, DVDs, CDs, an iPod, laptop/tablet, good walking shoes, swimsuit, a hat, sunglasses, suntan lotion, a favorite beach towel and maybe a mask & snorkel. The house was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 4 teenagers with beds to spare. Great view from the deck, and a very quiet neighborhood. El Gigante was a short drive and is the kind of non touristy village we were looking for. Loved it.

The house is in good shape and all the staff made our stay felt so easy. There were a few things that could probably use fixing, for example, the lighting in some of the rooms was too dim, the oven doesn’t work (they offered to replace it, but we decided not to deal with that for the moment. I still think they should replace the oven regardless for future customers), some hammocks and chairs were broken (I’d just get rid of those), and finally some knifes were just not sharp. I’d give it a 5 if it were not for these hiccups. The staff did everything they could to make us feel comfortable! Danilo, Orestes, Grace, Allison, Juan, you guys are the real MVPs!

Very thankful to the Lord for helping us find this hidden gem. We enjoyed every minute in the home. The only afvise would be updates. Shower heads not working properly, lighting around the home. Very dark and some fixtures are not working properly. We are really thankful for mr. Daniel ( pool maintenance) he went far and beyond to make out stay pleasant. He showed us around and was always ready to help with amything. May the Lord Bless this home and the family. Lord willing we will be back soon... thank you

House is in need of upgrades, very dirty. It seems like the people that take care of the house are not doing their job. The house needs a lot of repairs. Would never rent this property again nor I would never recommend anyone to stay there. Not satisfied at all. If the owners of this property see this feedback feel free to call me I can give you more details and pictures I took. Property manager sucks.

Fantastic memories created for a BFF holiday with 3 families, 2 flew all the way from Canada! We loved our adventures on the various beaches in the Tola area, especially the tranquil Redonda Bay just a short walk of about 1km with beach bar and 2X1 happy hour drinks from 4-6pm. Some of our group did surfing lessons on Popoyo, others loved long beach walks on Giganta, Amarillo, Iguana, Colorado and Perro. Everyone loved the INCREDIBLE sunsets everynight no matter which beach. Mag Rock cafe also offered fantabulous views. As far as the property: Pros- -space was great with 2 balconies. -Dorm bedroom with 3 beds and trundles fit our needs well since we had 8 kids aged 18-25 between the 3 families. -ACs in all bedrooms worked well . The casita one broke after the first day and Grace the property manager got that fixed with the NEW UNIT the same day (she is fantastic and responsive) -infinity pool amongst the trees was a nice respite from heat and sun -6 hammocks so lots could have their quiet time -lots of paper products and cleaning fluids provided -plenty of towels and beach/pool towels -good quality furniture and mattresses -pool cleaned every morning -great rocking chairs and chaise lounges -3 sets of new snorkels and masks -2 coolers CONS -the house is starting to show age and wear and tear with the heat/humidity taking its toll on some aspects of the building (inside and out) It could use painting in places and the wood floors needed a MAJOR cleaning (they were filthy and in literally 3 mins ALL of us had black grimy feet so we got the cleaner in our first morning to do floors ) - only 1 laundry machine for 14 people meant that sheets were not all done for our arrival and beds not made (and we arrived to a load in the washing machine, a load of damp sheets waiting for the dryer and a load still needing another hour in the dryer -some of the kitchen cooking items are now showing age and needing to be replaced (especially the clear acrylic wine glasses) additional food notes: -We had one typical Nica lunch and dinner prepared and it was tonnes of food which lasted 2 days! -We went to Aqua Resort for New Years Eve and felt totally ripped off. They lost our reservation and scrambled to get us a table for 14 and food. We should have just gone to Blue Sol in Gigante as the food there was great and it was 1/3 the price. Overall we all REALLY enjoyed our time at the Magical Treehouse!
