Spectacular House with Panoramic View of Lake Desoto

This house worked out perfectly for our family trip!

Everything was nice. Water was nice and hot. Scenery was beautiful. Even the outdoor cats were comforting.

House was very clean and Cor was a great guy to deal with. I would have given 5 stars but the waterfall didn't work and the pontoon boat broke down on the second day which was very disappointing

This was our first time at this property and it didn't disappoint! Plenty of room for all, and the swimming was great! Cor is a great host!

The house was perfect for our group of 10. We enjoyed being able to walk right outside and swim in the lake. We used the kayaks and paddle boat daily. My son loves fishing and we caught plenty of large mouth bass. We rented a pontoon boat from Cor and took the kids tubing one day and we were the only boat on the water. 10 out of 10 recommend this house. One of the best vacations we have been on. We didn’t want to leave.

This is the second time staying at this house. We had an issue, but the host went above and beyond to take care of us and make sure our vacation turned out good. Thanks again!

Family weekend. The house is what made the trip worth it!

We were a group of guys that went to HSV for some great golf and we were lucky enough to find this great house. It was perfect for our group. Everything was in working order, clean and nice. The only thing is, the backyard was really nice but we didn't have time to really enjoy. Would recommend this property highly.

Spent much time on the deck as rain kept us off the golf courses. This was our 3d visit to this property and hopefully can return. There was some concrete settling on the driveway by the front door that might need attention.

It seemed like the house hadn’t been used in a while, there was some dust built up on things, some mold on shower curtains and stains on towels. We were disappointed we didn’t know in advance that we wouldn’t be able to use the kayaks but the owner was very responsive with questions we had.

Our circumstances unfortunately was for a family members funeral. The owner was extremely responsive and flexible. We were able to host a family diner there after the funeral and it was perfect for our needs! Each of my kids families had their own rooms and everything worked out great. The only constructive criticism (and please don’t take this negatively as it did not negatively affect our stay) but som of the furniture is dated and in need of repair like the chairs in the living room, a lamp and an end table with a broken middle drawer. I only mention this as I have rental properties myself and I am thankful when people let me know thins in need of attention. Overall it was a fantastic place and exactly what we needed! We just wish the circumstances could have been different.

ecactly what we were looking for. 4 guys on a golf trip. 4 bedrooms and each had a shower. very clean and cor couldn't have been anymore helpful.

This is the second here we have stayed in this house for an annual golf trip to HSV. The host is wonderful to work with and very accommodating. Will definitely stay here again

Dishes were left In dishwasher and had mold on them. Overall house wasn’t clean

Good place to stay. All four of us had a room. Easy to get ready and play a bunch of golf.

Enjoyed the dock, the lake view, and the decks.

Very comfortable home on a quiet lake in a peaceful neighborhood but convenient to local points of interest. Really liked the layout of the home. With 2 bedrooms and bathrooms and a living area and deck on each level, the early risers and night owls could keep their preferred hours without disturbing each other. House has everything you need but we spent most of our time on the decks or in the water. Great communication with owner.

The house is in a wonderful location with quick access to the water. Owner was on top of everything. Responded and handled any issues we had quickly and fairly. Kitchen has every utinsil you could need. Access to the water and the kayaks and paddle boat was great. Everyone having their own bathroom was great. Will definitely visit again.

We came to the village for a family reunion. Two families with adults, tweens and teens stayed at the property. We enjoyed access to the lake, ample deck seating, the pool table and proximity to the entrance gate/access to stores outside of the village. The house has some maintenace items that could use attention (loose boards on dock area, poor lighting especially in kitchen work/counter areas), but the house met our needs and expectations overall. The host was responsive throughout the booking and stay. Thanks for hosting our families.

We enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room to spread out. Nice location on Lake Desoto.

This was a guy's golf trip. Since there was 4 of us, it was nice to have 4 br's and 4 bathrooms. The house has a good view of Lake Desota from the deck, but the owner has let a tree grow up in front of it blocking a very nice view. Other than that small issue the house suited our needs and was close to a grocery store and several restaurant's. We had a problem with the AC not cooling but as soon as I called the host, Cor, he was right over and fixed the problem. Overall, I would say a nice house. I will say if you're there to golf it is about a 20-minute drive to most of the courses. Whereas if you're on the east end it's a 5-10 minute drive.
