Spectacular Grandfather Mountain Views from three levels, centrally located

Staying at this lovely mountain home has become an annual tradition. We absolutely love the location, home, and owners!The house is centrally located to the surrounding mountain towns (Banner Elk, Blowing Rock, Linville, and Boone to name a few.) You can travel in any direction and quickly enjoy the mountains, hiking, restaurants, Appalachian State University, historical landmarks, and many quaint mountain stores overflowing with the mountain culture. The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable mattresses. The kitchen is well stocked for the chefs in the group. The family rooms are comfy and provide a great area for relaxing and enjoying time with family and friends. A wood burning fireplace and the firepit offer an opportunity to appreciate cozy time or making smores. The driveway is flat and provides an easily accessed front door. Linens are provided and the plushness of the towels is like being at home instead of a rental. The view is exactly as the picture indicates, an amazing profile of Grandfather Mountain with picturesque scenery. The owners are responsive and kind! Any time we've asked for suggestions or recommendations they are extremely helpful. The restaurant recommendations have been appreciated providing a variety of cuisines and all with great ambience.

Overall, we had a great time. The cabin was very nice, with plenty of room for our family of 10, and well equipped. The location was ideal for tubing at Hawk Nest and skiing/snow boarding on Sugar Mountain. We would not hestitate to book this property again. Thanks for sharing your place with us.

This is the second time we have stayed here. This home is absolutely beautiful, clean and in a great location. We would definitely rent again. The owner, Larry, is excellent to work with. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

We enjoyed this spacious home with a perfect view of Grandfather mountain. We enjoyed the comfortable summer weather and many outdoor activities nearby (Linville Falls, Elk Falls, Blu Ridge Parkway, Music at Valle Crucis and Seven Devils, Blowing Rock, Cone Manor, Bass Lake, Fly Fishing Float trip on Watagua Tailwaters). We travelled to Boone and Blowing rock often for Pickleball, museums, shopping, and dining. We enjoyed the well furnished kitchen and gas grill for preparing many meals. The laundry was essential to our long stay. The two living areas and deck space were great for everyone to have their own space. The large smart TVs were perfect for watching streaming shows. Internet speed was good. Parking in the two car garage was convenient. The only drawback for us was the narrow road up the mountain with an occasional oncoming car.

This is our second year staying here and we will be returning next year as well! It is a beautiful home. Very clean, well supplied with lots of room and fun things to do. It has a pool table, foosball and air hockey as well at great seating, large tvs and tables to play games. The view from the deck of Grandfather mt. is also beautiful. The location is central to Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Beech Mt. and West Jefferson and a number of wineries as well. The owners are great to deal with and communication is quick and helpful. We enjoy renting here!

Space is great, home has everything you need!

This house was wonderful for our family. There were 9 of us—5 adults and 4 children! It was spacious with sleeping arrangements for all of us. We love to cook and eat together. Big kitchen, well equipped! 2 dining tables and I outside on the deck.

Absolutely wonderful stay! We had three different families stay at this house ranging from toddler to grandparent and it was fantastic. The space was extremely accommodating. The game room was a huge hit and the kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed for dinners. We would love to stay at this property again next year for another ski trip. Would absolutely recommend this place!
