Stayed Mar 4, 2023This property has good bones, a nice floorplan, comfy queen beds, linens of good supply and quality, but an uncomfortable living room in a new community with a lovely pool and nice neighbors. Our stay was marred by many issues: (1) misrepresentation of capacity, which is 6, not 8, posing a problem for the one night when we had a full house of 6 adults and a 4-year old; (2) the balcony was filthy requiring a purchase of supplies to clean interior and exterior doors / windows, and scrubbing rust off 4 chairs as well as the algae on railings. (3) the keyless lock needs a simpler code that might improve the 50% hit rate we had. (4) Nice kitchen layout with good cookware and knives and decent appliances needs to be augmented by the inadequate dishware service for 8, and 7 glasses which required us to purchase plastic to supplement. The kitchen lacks serving pieces and salad bowl - very tacky to serve using metal mixing bowls. (5) Since pool access requires a transponder card to open the gate, and the main entry gate requires the same card, additional access needs to be provided to both simultaneously to avoid the frustration of restricted access. (6) Bunk bed frames are unsafe as stacked so we dismantled and reassembled.(7) Owner needs to provide basic operational information to reduce frustration and be more welcoming. We enjoyed our stay in spite of these frustrations but owner and property management need to step up to ensure an experience that is worth the expense.
