This home is island living at it's best! This TOTALLY RENOVATED has everything you need for an amazing vacation: private pool and spectacular view of Kettle Harbor!! This island waterfront home is located on the widest open harbor with no bridges to the ICW
This home has just completed a total renovation. When you enter the main floor you are in a totally open space Great Room. The kitchen, living room and dining areas are all one large space. A new high end, open concept kitchen with stainless appliances and wooden butcher block island. Off the kitchen is a porch overlooking Kettle Harbor. The living room is very spacous with a wall of glass overlooking Kettle Harbor.
The master bedroom and a guest room are located on the main level. The master has an ensuite bathroom and a balcany which connect to the other guest room. Also on the main level is the laundry room with washer and dryer.
Up the stair case , you will find the Monkey themed kids room! This room has a half bath, 4 twin beds ( a bunk and a day bed) a private balcony overlooking the pool and a smart TV.
On the ground floor you have a Bonus, GAMES room. This room has a queen futon and double beds. This area also has a large screen tv and an XBOX.
Beside the game room is and outdoor dining area that seats 5 and another large lounging area located under the home out of the sun.
And there is more! An outdoor kitchen and bar space for casual entertaining is also poolside.
The dock has been completely rebuilt, however, the boat lift is not operational and not availalbe.
Have you vacationed on the island before Palm Island a.k.a. Don Pedro Island, is a barrier island 7 miles long between Sarasota and Ft. Myers on the Gulf coast with sugar-sand beaches, beautiful harbors and lagoons, great fishing and shelling only accessible by a short 10 minute car ferry or private boat. Our beaches are some of the most pristine and quiet in all of coastal Florida. There are no high rises blocking your Gulf views, unpaved sandy roads, and a relaxed Old Florida atmosphere. There is one restaurant called the Rum Bay that serves lunch and dinner. The car ferry runs continually from 6:30 am until 10:00 pm from Sunday through Thursday and until 11:00 pm Friday and 12:00 midnight Saturday. You drive your car onto the ferry and then directly to your vacation rental home. It's a very special place to vacation. There are companies on the island that rent golf carts and kayaks for your use while you are here. All of our properties on Palm Island require a ferry ride to get there. One round trip on the ferry for car and passengers costs $55. The alternative is to purchase a book of 10 round trips for $400, or $40 per round trip.     Such a great house. My host(Jim) was there to answer every question i had. Kitchen has the best cookware I've seen in any rental house. The outside pool area is the best! So many complimented about that space. Plenty of room to sleep a nice sized group. Rent a golf cart for sure. Quick ride to the beach and a great way to explore this beautiful island. Really enjoyed our stay.

    We loved this house so much! Everything was just perfect. From the updated home inside to the wonderful backyard with all the extras. Don Pedro Island was exactly what we needed and we can’t imagine a better house than this one. One note - make sure you rent a golf cart (from the resort) so you can easily get to the beach.

    This house was PERFECT for a long weekend with my girlfriends! The outdoor spaces were extremely comfortable and so well laid out to support lounging and socializing, the saltwater pool was incredible, the kitchen was very well stocked, beds comfortable and overall the place was neat as a pin! We had a blast watching manatees, dolphins and mullet in the canal and found the short walk/drive to the beach to be no issue. The outdoor bar was also a hit with my friends! I would definitely rent this place again! Jim, the property manager, was also informative and prompt in his communications... all in all, outstanding!
