Great location, close to town, beautiful property

This is the perfect Lake Placid location. Kim is a communicative and respectful host. We were here for a lacrosse tournament and the location could not be more convenient. We will be returning.

We visited LP for New Years with my 4 adult children and 2 dogs. The home was clean and comfortable, and did not smell like animals, which is unusual for homes that accept pets. Kitchen had more than enough equipment to make meals. The 3rd bedroom had a day bed that was separated into 2 twins - one on the floor. The place was perfect for what we wanted. We would rent again.

We had a very pleasent stay!

Our stay here was amazing. The two of us, our child, and dogs loved it. The location is perfectly nestled far enough from town but close enough for short drives. The house was more than we could have imagined. Owner was very responsive and easy to deal with. Definitely will be looking at this place for future stays!!

Host was welcoming, house was nice and plenty of space for everyone. Just far enough away from lake placid to relax, but not too far to make it tedious. Kitchen was well stocked with everything one would need as well. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to enjoy lake placid

What a find! A cozy, clean, comfortable, and welcoming spot to rest our heads while touring Lake Placid. The house was spotless, the host was responsive and helpful. Loved the earmarked restaurant guide, the cozy throw blankets, well stocked kitchen, and sparkling windows so we could appreciate the beautiful outdoor view. Highly recommend!!

This was a great rental for our family of six for the weekend. There was plenty of room for us and our four grown children. The house is very comfortable and cozy and has everything you could need other than your personal belongings. The wood-burning fireplace was a great bonus to have on the very cold weekend we were up there. I would recommend this house to anybody looking for a nice rental in a quiet neighborhood at an affordable price.

This property was absolutely charming . From the beautiful setting to the closeness of Lake Placid and Mirror Lake and all they have to offer, this home is a treasure. The house was in a great location close to town, Olympic Center, Mt. VanHovenburg, restaurants, etc. plenty of room for all of us 2 dogs.It had everything we needed for a great stay.

Everything was very nice. Clean and welcoming. The ability to do laundry was greatly appreciated after climbing peaks. The only issue was an inability to open the wifi.

We really enjoyed this house! It had plenty of room with a large great room that contained a living, dining and kitchen. There were enough window a/c's to cool things down on a couple of hot days and heat to ward off the chill towards the end of our rental (one month) The property is roomy and flat (except the driveway) with a large deck, ideal if you have a doggie! Even though the neighborhood is close to a main road, it was very quiet and quite pretty with houses not close together. One unexpected plus are a series of trails that go in different directions from the house. The owner/host was easy to contact and very accommodating.

Perfect location! This was our 3rd time staying here. The house is perfectly situated for access to the Ironman course. Plenty of rooms for friends and family to hang out. The house has everything you need. Kim is very easy to work with and helpful.

We were welcomed by the smell of evergreens surrounding the house! Very comfortable for the 6 of us, with every need met. We would recommend this spotless house for anyone wanting a quiet getaway close to Lake Placid.

This is our second time visiting Lake Placid and staying at this location. We find the home spacious with all the kitchen amenities that we need. The location is also great. It takes about 10 minutes to get into the heart of the shops and eating establishments.

Listing should have made it clear that the owner, and her dogs, live downstairs in the same house. Hearing her dogs bark made our own dog anxious. We all felt that we had to be extra quiet, which is not what we anticipated when renting a house which we thought would be private. The driveway is steep, which could be an issue in the winter if you don’t have all-wheel drive. However, the location is excellent, close to town and ski, and the kitchen well stocked, and beds comfortable. Another note—no washer/dryer.

It was a wonderful stay. We loved the setting if where the house was and the fireplace.. it was like we were in a winter wonderland nestled in the woods. Only about 5 minutes from outskirts of Lake Placid. We loved it!

My family and I loved the Lake Placid house! It was so comfy and accommodating. It was stocked with everything we needed and more! It is clean and everything was well maintained. Our stay in Lake Placid was everything we’d hoped for. The fall colors were amazing!! Downtown had a wonderful charm. Good food, walked around, drove around and enjoyed every bit of our stay! Emma’s house fit us well four adults and 1 pup, plenty of room for all and pup playing!

Was on the go a lot with a rugby tournament but location was perfect
