Stayed Mar 13, 2026Let me begin by saying that we didn't try the hot tub. There was no propane tank for the fire pit, and no propane in the tank for the barbecue grill. Otherwise, it was fantastic. Our gatherings need lots of beds, baths, and sitting room. This house absolutely fits the bill. It is so well stocked that we even found kleenex! That was great! Most of the group came in from other states and don't always have the needed elements for our stay. We love a house that is well-stocked. The beds (every one of them) were very comfortable. The heat works great! Plenty of place for storing your stuff and plenty of lamps. This is something else that we always look for. The house is very close to everything we do, just a short drive to Ruston Way, the Proctor District and more. The kitchen lacks for nothing. We have some carnivores so brought a couple of air fryers. The toaster is large enough for bagels. There was no Keurig, but the Ninja coffee brewer was perfect. Plenty of dishes, flatware and sharp knives, which is a plus. There are two extremely comfortable living areas and both have easy to work gas fireplaces. We love the peaceful atmosphere, something else we always look for. The neighborhood feels quiet and safe with families walking their dogs. The scripture and Biblical references are so poignant and sweet. We love that about the place. Thank you, Marceena for a wonderful stay and for making sure that everything was clean and great for our stay! We plan on coming back! :)

Stayed May 15, 2025I booked this beautiful home for my family who visited for my wedding. Before we even checked in the owner was in touch to ensure a smooth process. I had a few questions during the 5 days that they were there, the owner always promptly responded. My family found the home spacious and comfortable. We even had space to entertain extra friends and family on the wonderful deck outside the kitchen. It was a truly perfect place for my family to feel at home away from home.

Stayed Nov 22, 2024The house is spacious and clean. That said the bedding is quite worn and very old. One shower wouldn’t drain, and the bathrooms and kitchen could use an update. Also of note there is a lot of religious paraphernalia throughout the house. If that is your thing, great, but it should be noted that it’s quite excessive. Check in was an issue and it took an hour to get ahold of the property manager. I believe they put a lot of effort into making this home comfortable and with some small updates it could be much nicer.

Stayed Jul 18, 2024This house is located centrally in Tacoma and is in a nice neighborhood. The back porch has a view of Mt. Ranier (although obstructed by phone cables). The backyard is so nice and refreshing to sit outside and enjoy the breeze. The house itself is quirky but cute. When you walk in the front door you either go upstairs to floor 1 or downstairs to floor 2. If you have someone who cannot manage stairs do not get this house! There are multiple sitting areas, and the kitchen is well-stocked. Again, the deck outside is wonderful!! I really like this place. We have rented it 2 years in a row for the same conference. It is close to a Starbucks and Safeway, easy access to the freeway, close to Ruston area by the water, the beds are comfortable and the a/c works well (don't set it too low...you will freeze out the people downstairs!) We really appreciated the cleanliness, safety and comfort of this house.
