Spacious San Antonio Home ~ 5 Mi to Downtown!

This is a wonderful old house conveniently located by Ft. Sam Houston and downtown San Antonio. There is a lot of space in this house and we were very comfortable. The streets in the neighborhood area are extremely uneven and that is really my only concern. If we were to ever have a reason to go back to San Antonio I would definitely stay here again.

We always enjoy staying at the Casa de Adriel! It has everything we need and feels like our home away from home. It’s also in a fabulous neighborhood.

Primary reason for our stay was to be a part of our grandaughter’s graduation from Ft Sam Houston. The location was absolutely perfect. The house itself is a time capsule of cherished vintage artwork and furnishings. It was a privilege to spend a few days in this family museum. We always felt safe in a secure neighborhood and were close enough to get a day in at the Witte Museum and the River Walk.

The Host was great in communication - clear, accurate, timely & proactive. The home is very clean, well equipped and stocked. The pictures and description are factually correct, but don’t convey that the home is very dated - worn / older furniture and decorated as it was in the 1950’s. Comfortable and clean, but my initial reaction was OMG, I’m in the way way back machine!!! :)

Casa de Adriel is a true gem. The home is full of warmth, charm, and personal history—it was built in 1950 by the owner’s parents, and you can feel the love in every detail. The artwork by the owner’s mother adds such a unique and meaningful touch throughout the house.We were in town to visit our oldest daughter, who is stationed at the nearby military base, and the location was incredibly convenient. It made our trip so much easier and more special.Thank you for sharing this beautiful home—it was peaceful, comfortable, and full of heart. We’d absolutely stay again.

The location was great!

My siblings and I have begun traveling to San Antonio as often as possible to see our aging parents. We’d heard about this house from them, as many relatives of people living at The Towers on Park Lane stay there — because it is so conveniently located, has plenty of living area, and seriously feels like you’re living in someone’s home.The house itself is a pleasure to mid-century modern fans. And you feel like you’ve stepped back in time when you enter. But the fun thing is that the walls are covered with delightful paintings by the owner’s mother. It’s a riot of color and fun, and we enjoyed every bit of it.We enjoyed staying at Case de Adriel, and will do so again whenever it is available.

House was spacious and clean. In a great location. Very well equipped with everything that you might want. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

La Casa de Abriel is all that the owner advertises, a spacious former family home filled with his mother’s folk art, every possible kitchen and hospitality tool needed, large rooms, and an EXTRA little outdoor casita for two more guests. It’s in a lovely neighborhood it is also very conveniently located. Since it was a colder time in San Antonio, their large fireplace and plenty of prepared firewood added warmth to our visit. Especially ideal for large families.

Spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. Inviting. Would stay here again.

Loved the entire home!

We LOVED staying at Casa Adriel! The roomy well- appointed house is centrally located creating just a short drive to all the San Antonio hot spots, San Antonio Botanical Garden, the Zoo, Riverwalk and the Pearl. Wonderful comfy spaces for the family and everything we needed in the kitchen. The original artwork decorating the walls and the beautiful Talavera tile gave the house a fabulous San Antonio local feel. Smart lock made coming and going super easy without having to worry about key. Looking forward to our next stay!

Comfortable

The property was in a gorgeous older neighborhood away from all the city noise and traffic but close enough to it that you don't have to drive forever to get somewhere. The house is gorgeous inside and out with all the things you need inside. Would definitely stay here with my family again and would most definitely recommend to friends and family! Thank you so much, we really enjoyed our stay.

Casa de Adriel was a delightful home with a beautiful patio. We really enjoyed the artwork. It was quiet the oasis. The host was superb.
