Spacious retreat located one block from the beach + private pool!

This property was very disappointing for my family. Upon arrival we immediately noticed some alarming things, the most serious of which was freshly dried blood on one of the comforters. Dirt in a few of the beds. A bookshelf looked like a dog chewed off the top corners of it. There was a pile of empty beer cans in the pool area. Cockroaches were seen 3 times IN the house. We also noticed fairly quickly that the dishwasher had an odor which I can only assume is from the food trap not being properly cleaned which made us wonder how clean the dishes we were eating off of actually were. Mold on the ceiling vent and peeling paint were noticed in the dining area. The washing machine also had a very foul musty odor, which made our clothes smell after washing them. We checked in on a Sunday and the pool pump was broken but there was a work order placed for it. After constant contact with the host we were told the technician would be out to fix it - 2 days in a row. One of the last nights at the property, while bathing our kids the faucet in the bathtub broke and we couldn’t turn the water off. The maintenance person came to help, he called the emergency plumber but they didn’t answer the phone so he promptly turned off the hot water and left. The plumbers did come the next day and fixed it but this was very frustrating to have to deal with on top of everything else. This house sits on a very busy street where the speed limit is 30 mph, but cars were flying by - concerning for kids.

The house was a perfect size for our group of 13. It had everything we needed. The location is perfect for grocery shopping and beach access both of which are just a block away. There’s plenty of beach accessories like sand toys, chairs and umbrellas. The location is close to stores that sell anything else you may want and bike rental services. There are a couple of wagons as well. The entire house could use a nice purge. There are a lot of broken things and unusable items throughout.

We had a wonderful week in Tybee. This house is in the perfect location- only one block from the beach. It’s far enough away from the stores/dining that it’s not super crowded but still plenty close to walk to most everything. The online listing is accurate- everything was as expected. The pool is small but was perfect for the little kids to take an afternoon dip. My only complaints would be with the A/C and pull out couches. The A/C throughout entire house except 2 main level bedrooms worked wonderfully. However, these two bedrooms seemed to have no air coming from the vent even though it was open. Had to keep the doors open at night to keep from getting too hot. The pull out couch mattress is as old as the couch and is practically nothing but springs. It could definitely stand to be replaced. No major issues, though and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Two friends and I took our kids and their friends for a senior year trip to the beach before everyone graduates. The kids loved the location and thought the house was awesome. The communication with the property manager was excellent and the entire trip was easy and relaxed. Highly recommend!

This is a nice, big house that accommodated our multi-family stay. There was a little confusion with the property managers about how we were supposed to park, but once we got that figured out all went smoothly. The house has a nice, small pool, is an easy block from the beach, and is conveniently close to the market. We had a great week and would come back.

Overall the we liked the house. There were a few problems that we had but it did not ruin our trip. We really loved the pool and had plenty of space for our family of 8.

The house was perfect for our family gathering. We appreciated the flexibility of the management company as well. I would recommend this property to anyone heading to Tybee Island. Great location.

We had 4 adults and 7 kids, plenty of space, great location! We had a small snag with the internet and the property managers responded immediately, very appreciative! Highly recommend??

Overall this is a great property for a family or group trip to Tybee Island! The house is big and plenty of bathrooms for everyone too.

Great house lots of space. Close to beach. Grocery store very close. Lamps in den and bedroom were not plugged in and quite inconvenient to climb/reach thru headboard to only one outlet on the wall. No way to close garage door from outside.
