Spacious Private Home In Gated Resort At The Beach

The home was roomy and private and quiet. Somewhat dissatisfied with the distance it took to walk to the beach. Description says a 5 minutes walk. I timed the walk it was closer to 9 minutes and l that was walking at a good pace without carrying any beach gear. The home was very inviting and had comfy beds- a good amount of bathroom linens. I did notice the kitchen could use more updated kitchen cookware such as stainless steel vs non - stick. The grounds were clean and spacious with a great back deck for grilling and dining. Also be prepared to see beautiful deer very close by to watch and enjoy. Communication with the host was excellent! Overall the home was very enjoyable and we enjoyed our visit. Tammy & Family

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beach house and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, everything was seamless.The host was incredibly kind and responsive — any question we had was answered quickly, which made the whole trip feel effortless. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, exactly the kind of friction-free experience you hope for when you’re trying to relax.The house itself was spotless and clearly well cared for. The kitchen was a standout — fully stocked and set up perfectly for entertaining, which made cooking and gathering together genuinely enjoyable rather than an afterthought. Everything we needed was right there.Location-wise, we loved the short walk to the beach. Close enough to pop back whenever you wanted, but still a proper beach house feel.We left refreshed and already talking about coming back. The location is great and the house is clean but the kitchen could use some updating and be a little better equipped for cooking meals.

Older home with a nice location. Description states that it’s professionally cleaned…I don’t think so. Cobwebs in the door jams and ceiling corners. Kitchen rug has the look of never being washed. Coffee pot reservoir had floaters. All knives had rust spots, pans need replacing. I didn’t complain to the owner because all he could do would be to send over cleaners and we didn’t want to be bothered. All in all the home was not welcoming.

Very easy and convenient walk to the beach! Nice back porch. Great neighborhood and walkable surrounding areas.

Home was as advertised very clean and convenient to the palm island community. Lots of restaurants close by. Charleston is only 30 minutes away. Don’t miss patriots park and the surrounding attractions.Communication with the host was excellent. Would not hesitate to stay again!

We had a great stay at this spacious Isle of Palms home! It was perfect for our family - clean, comfortable, and nicely laid out so everyone had their own space. The kitchen was well-stocked, and we loved the bright sunroom and large outdoor deck. The quiet cul-de-sac location felt peaceful, yet the beach was just a short walk away. Overall, a wonderful place for a relaxing family getaway. Highly recommend!

We had the best time at this beach house for a family gathering! The rooms were large, the beds very comfortable. Extremely easy walk to a beautiful beach. The kitchen was well stocked, and there were many areas for our family to hang out and chat!Very easy to reach location and the owner was very helpful and communicative! Amazing place!

The house was clean and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the sun room in particular. A lovely place to sit, relax and visit. The neighborhood felt safe and the walk to the beach was enjoyable.

It's a lovely house in beautiful surroundings.It is fully equipped with all you need to make your stay enjoyable.We were only 3 but it could definitely hold 6 comfortably and with enough kitchenware to serve everyone.It is a lovely short walk to the beach and we felt safe at all times.It is also a great short distance to Charleston by car if you want some city time while your there.The host was incredibly prompt in answering questions and very friendly.We would definitely stay again and recommend it to friends and family.

Upon arriving or our month stay, the residence appeared to be in the condition described. However, after looking around, we found a few areas that were in unclean and poor condition. The worst of it was a skylight/shade directly over the Masterbedroom king bed. The shade was broken/sagging down and accumulated dust/insects were obvious. As this was the master bedroom, we were shocked that the owners who stay there at different times had not had this fixed/cleaned. We contacted the agent (who was very good at communicating with us) and he offered to have it cleaned, repaired, or replaced. There were some other issues that were minor compared to this. We decided not to have the skylight/shade worked on as it was a complicated fix with the large king bed underneath. Also, my wife has serious repiratory issues and disturbing that would have caused her distress. Other than that, we found the residence very comfortable and the location was excellent, and communicating with the agent was quick and easy.

Check in was very easy and the area was perfect. It was quiet and very close to the beach. I would recommend this place to other friends!

Property was clean, though we were really only at the place in the morning upon waking up and returning from our activities (shower and sleep).

The house was in a great location and was comfortable for our party of 6.

The property was spacious, quiet and just what we needed to relax. Definitely a quick walk to the beach and Robert took extra care to make sure that we were aware of any equipment rentals we may need during our stay. The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of towels in the rooms and bathrooms. The only inconvenience we experienced was the WiFi going out on the last night of our stay, but we were so busy with other activities that we really didn’t notice it. Checkout procedure was simple and straightforward. We would definitely consider coming back to the property in the future.

We book this home with great excitement to spend time together with family that lives elsewhere. We have in the past rented homes on other area beaches, this home was just as wonderful as homes in the past.The home has all the conveniences, comfortable beds, outside shower, quick walk to the beach. We loved it!

Great stay

Place was clean, however very outdated. The master bedroom had several large windows that did not have any shades which was very bright early in the morning. This would be an issue for people wanting to sleep late.Location was very good, close to the beach.I would suggest changing out the two single beds for queens.

The home is very spacious and could accommodate more than six if needed. The kitchen is stocked with cookware and dishes. Proximity to the beach is excellent; just a short (5 min) walk. The host is very responsive and the area is peaceful and quiet.

we had a small group of guys visiting to play golf. The house fit the bill just fine. All the beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked and the Weber grill was great for grilling steaks. We would definitely return.

House was spotless and looked like it had some recent updates. Kitchen was well appointed, location good, nice deck off the back. Property manager was very responsive to all our queries.

We rented this property for while were in town for an event and didn't want to stay downtown with all the crowds. This was perfect! You were in a neighborhood but due to the trees you didn't really see the neighbors. It was perfect for the 4 of us. The big couch in the living room was perfect for all of us to relax on in between events or dinner.

The house was very nice and comfortable. It was exactly as advertised!

We stayed for 5 days between Christmas and New Year’s. The accommodations were great, the only thing I would suggest is looking at the lock in the door, it’s a little tricky. Most of all changing out the carpet, not a good impression when walking in and seeing stains on the carpet. Otherwise we enjoyed are stay.

We enjoyed the house very much. The neighborhood was lovely and convenient to everything. The house was spacious, comfortable and I'd love to visit again when the weather is warmer! We were there during a real cold spell, and the temperature improved on the day we left. The only negative thing was that the carpet was stained and dirty. That was unfortunate because the rest of the house was great.

Very good location for our purposes. Layout of the house handles people very well, with public and private spaces. Perfect for a group or family that doesn’t need or want to look at sand and the ocean. The front porch and railing is in a frightful state and MUST be replace, before someone goes head-over-teakettle or the whole staircase collapses. A thorough cleaning would help, lots of cobwebs. The carpet is pretty spooky and should be cleaned or replaced. Although not unique to this property, the “host fees” are outrageous and infuriates me. It’s like a restaurant tacking on a 20% fee for dishwashing services. Just tell us upfront what the cost is.

This spot was in a perfect location for us. Quiet neighborhood and quick access to the beach.

Communication with property owners/management was quick and efficient. The condo was clean although the carpets were a bit dingy/stained in places. Although you do use a some stairs to get to the beach it was a quick walk. Location was great as it didn’t take long to get to any of “touristy” destinations

This was our first visit to Isle of Palms and we were so incredibly disappointed. The photos on VRBO totally misrepresent the property. This was one of the worst VRBO's we have ever stayed in, and we have stayed in many VRBO's across the country. Stained carpet, dirty couch and dining room chairs, cob webs over master bed, mold in the dishwasher and when we stripped our bed (requested by agent) the mattress was urine stained!! This property needs major TLC before its rented again!! How this property received a 9.2 rating is a sham!!! This is the first time we have ever given a VRBO property a negative review.

Excellent property, very well maintained and fully furnished with everything you might need. All appliance worked as expected. No complaints. Highly recommend this property.

Close to the beach! If you are carrying chairs, umbrellas, etc. it might be a tough walk but otherwise loved the location!
